'Evil twin' threat to Wi-Fi users

CNN: LONDON, England -- "Evil twins" are the latest menace to threaten the security of Internet users, experts in the UK are warning.

While wireless is a good idea (getting rid of all them damn wires) it is still too vulnerable for me to use without worry. Will it ever be safe to use?

Probably not.

I mean, not while data is transmittend and hackers are out there. But like the article says: As long as you're not transmitting confidential data you're not really at risk. I love Wi-Fi due to the sheer mobility it gives you, but I would never transfer funds or something like that while on such a connection.
