LOL,

According to Jim, the software giant has stumbled on the Lilliputians and is being tied to the ground while they sleep .

3DO? What the heck is that?

My fiance's son just bought me an X-Box, along with Steel Battallion and it's mondo controller. for my Birthday.

Microsoft has already abandoned the Force Feedback controller after the release of Winblows XPos.

It's starting to appear that Microshaft is painting itself into a corner by using dubious marketing strategies.

I can hear them now, in their corporate head sessions in a fancy boardroom in Redmond.

BG: "What can we do to recover our profits that were lost in the court cases?"

SL: "Let's boost our sales of the FF II Controller"

BG: "How do we do that?"

SL:" Easy, When we roll out XP, we can make the first FF stick obsolete by not providing any XP crossover support for it and many other pieces of hardware. We'll make a ton of cash."

BG: "Do it!"

After inspecting my spanking new X-box and comparing it to the PS 2, Microshaft has valid reasons for concern in regard to market share.

For all intensive purposes, the X-box is simply a heavy duty toy computer for kids. Something they would have difficulty in destroying. It's almost as heavy as an ATX PC, so the really young kids would have trouble throwing it.

If the break-away cables, or better yet the wireless accessories, are purchased for the controllers, it can't be accidentally pulled from it's resting place to crash on the floor.

It's a dog eat dog market out there and the Giant should stop stepping on the little people, if they wish not to be tied down.

Not to mention that most games on the XBox are also on the computer.......

If you want a real console get a Gamecube, they're fun and extremely portable, and they have all the nice fancy new graphics that everyone wants!

Then when they roll out their next console you will have to buy all your games again and again and again.

Actually I received my Xbox last year for a HS grad gift. After playing the PS one for awhile, giving up and focusing on school my last year. The Xbox was a breath of fresh air. I like Halo, it's good, not THE best FP, but good. I have fun with all my games. Not to mention I don't have the money to buy new equip just to run a good PC game *cough* SWG, UC *cough* otherwise my comp couldn't play those games.

With my Xbox, I don't need a memory card, just save money for new games. Plus FPs and adventure games on MY PC isn't that much fun compared to my xbox since all the commands I need are on my controller.

I'm not saying the xbox, PS2, GC are better than the PC, just for me YEAH KnightBlade on Xbox!!!!
