various x box games picked up

did some bargain shopping this weekend and came home with 3 xbox games to try out.

1st and best is Red Dead Revolver. stupid name, awesome game. if you like westerns, youll love this. it reminded me of every spaghetti western eastwood ever did all rolled into one... and add josey wales. simply and awesome game... glad rockstar bought the rights from capcom... otherwise it never would of made it to the shelves. 9.5/10

2nd is Kill Switch. i know this isnt a new game, but the premise just rocks. run and gun, cover and blind firing, and the story was pretty damn cool too. 8/10

3rd is Indiana Jones and the Emperors Tomb. i know what youre probably saying "oh boy... not ANOTHER indiana jones game,... the others sucked!"

IMHO this one doesnt. the whole feel of the game seems right to me, like im watching an indy movie. the story is cool (indy story lines never get old for me)the fisticuffs are fun and amusing, so are the firefights. and the voice actor for indy is almost spot on for harrison ford. 8/10

if you havent played any of these yet, rent em and give em a try... especially red dead revolver... got race to thank for that one

Try Full Spectrum Warrior ....picked it up for my son over the past weekend. From watching him play, it looks pretty good.

no riddick yet... waiting for the video store to carry it so i can rent it... i dont want to buy it just in case its shitty like pitch black was.

made that mistake with showdown: legends of wrestling. thought it was gonna be awesome, but acclaim sucked all the magic out of it... it turned into the most boring button mash fest since the hulk. not even the addition of ultimate warrior, macho man, sting, mr perfect, rick rude, and jake the snake made a diff IMO... i bought it, played it for about 2 hours completing the story for 3 characters, and took it back to EB games.

as for full spectrum... it looks alright, but i dont like doing the command only type of thing unless its total war.
