XBOX and DVD+RW

I know one can get a remote control thingy so one can watch DVDs from their xbox. Does anyone know if it's just DVD's or can one also play DVD+RW,-RW,+R,-R?

So far, www.xbox.com has been inconclusive as have other sources of information (such as the manual).

I don't think I missed it, but does anybody know?

Real DVDs only, unless you've modded your xbox.

PS2 can play DVD-Rs and +Rs (i'm not sure about the latter though).
