In early November, Israeli developer Majorem suspended further work on its massive multiplayer strategy game Ballerium due to the collapse of Majorem's only client, and consequent lack of funds.

Now it has been picked up by Interplay who signed an exclusive agreement with Majorem to publish and distribute Ballerium, which is currently in beta testing, and is expected to launch by summer 2005.

Ballerium is a massive multiplayer strategy game over the Internet, based on an original parallel world, having its own history, society, and rules.In Ballerium, either individual players or clans had to try to build a gate which provided an escape from the declining world. Ballerium featured a unique and flexible social model, sophisticated and realistic economy & market mechanism and an effective diplomacy system that generated player-handled authority.
