"Screw me twice, shame on me, or I found it kinky" Creative has long been churning out crap sound cards and their invasive drivers and software don't play well with some programs. Like causing repeating sound loops, program and OS lockups. Just to name a few. To most folks the difference between a standard sound card and a high end sound card is indistinguishable. Unfortunately, Creative is pretty much the only pig in the poke, so they get away with making grandiose claims about their products. Just like everything else these days, Let the buyer beware. Forget honesty, integrity and fair play. It's all about the Benjamins.
Guest Grayfox Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 lol the driver issue is what really pisses me off. i d/l the win 98 drivers (when i had 98) for a live! 5.1, go to install them, and it says my sound card is not a live! 5.1. hmmmm look at the box... says live! 5.1 right on the front. look at the info printed on the soundcard... says live! 5.1 creative has been pissing me ff for quite awhile now, but like the article said, theyre the only pig in the poke right now....
