That is a sad one. I really wish publishers would start actually advertising adventure games that come out. Maybe I'm just stupid, but I don't believe that adventure games are dead yet, and I think if developers and publishers would take the time to make good storylines and put some actual quality into it, we'd see some decent games out in every genre.

Its the old addage of software design. Time, Cost, Quality, pick two. Its about time publishers stopped picking time and cost and started worrying a little about quality. Maybe then so many old dogs of the industry wouldn't be leaving with sad faces.
