Some weird happenings with Nav Comp

Well, I have been reading about this "whatever" (Since it's not a bug, glitch or anything so i dont know how to qualify it) about the random damage without combat situations, without intruders or volatile minerals on board. (unless repair minerals are voltile)

The problem is: My NavComputer gets 50% damage while docked or while in space.

In the saved game I have, this happened twice. A curious thing is that it doesnt require any repair materials and doesnt allow a replacement.

I know BCM is no longer supported but I would like to know what's up.
