Dethmeker Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 Hey I have UCCE with latest patch and I'm in commander mode on Roam and when I get to a mbase on random planets there is a Capture Tower. Then reason I'm asking is to know what its for and also can you capture these bases. Plus how would you capture them if you can? Also is it possible to capture planetary starbases?
RT Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 From what I remember, capture towers were ment for some game mechanism that didn't get in eventually, so sadly you can't capture military bases. You can't capture planetary starbases either, only space stations.

The game had to be cut short. I think it was Dreamcatcher whose fault it was that made it to be cut short. Bottom line is, a bunch of features never made it into game, including capturing starbases and ground bases.
