hey guys remember that game darkspace by Richard lyle faustus? i believe the SC licensed his game tools a while back for multiplayer, specifically the Medusa MMO game engine.

Yea but the universe is no longer as big as it was a few years ago (when it was pay to play) and that killed the interest for me

Apparently i have had an account there since January '08. So i guess it's been free since then maybe?Its also a good game. Just needs more players.

Can you replace the (OVERSATURATED) skybox textures by some black images? I'm tired of them colored backgrounds in SPACE.

Wait, and space is supposed to be just black? Last I saw of some NASA images there were colourful nebula's in space, some brighter than others. We just don't SEE them here on Earth, need a telescope (a powerful one I gather)

Unless your referring to their coloured backgrounds being poor; otherwise I don't think so, it's probably hardcored.

Space is dark to the naked eye. What you've seen is false color images, long expsure shots, and overall photoshop work. I like my space dark, I'm tired of all the colors. Also, I find it quite ironic that they would go that way given the name of the game.
