Ron:What do you mean "no life on neptune"? I remember reading in the RPG something about colonies being wiped out. Colonies are civilian installations, not military.

Ho-ho-ho man (Gallion hehe): Politics :-(. For those of you who don't know it, WAR is actually an acronym for We Are Right... a statement shared by all sides in any conflict. What other reason is there to fight for? *G* (I think Douglas Adams said this in one of his books..im not sure).

Rattler: Wraith Fleet, if you hadn't noticed, HANDLES what in the 20th century was known as black ops. We do handle assassinations that may prevent wars that could kill millions (what if someone had shot Hitler in 1938?? Hmmmm!!!, we raid ENEMY shipping and we also handle almost any behind-enemy-lines operations as well as preemptive strikes (we're located in the front lines).

About the Corsair court martial all I got to say is that he was authorized to OTS Gammulan military assets, but the transmission was garbled in the part where I prohibited him to attack Gammula itself. After all, the Gam's weren't going after Earth, it would not have been a good idea to go after their homeworld.. may have caused problems in the future. In any case, Gammulan defenses intercepted the OTS missiles, thus preventing a future diplomatical disaster AND giving us valuable info on their defense grid.

Finally, what do you mean by "finally admitted your Black Ops wing exists?"???? Isn't the insignia painted on all Wraith Vessels enought to convince you a new fleet is out there? Man, you Insurgents sure use outdated equipment... you should go out and clean the lenses of those telescopes you got sticking out the airlocks. *G*.

Gallion WILL take some heat upon his return, but it will not be on that court martial, but on losing 4 of MY cruisers *whine*. *G*.

Gallion has been ordered to RTB ASAP. Delta Wing has been recovered and their ships purged of the virus.If Gallion requests it, Delta Wing can go out to their aid at any time.

There has been some confusion about where the manual ends and the RP universe begins. Neptune was chosen as the site for the secret military base because the manual stated it had no/0% life. That means there's NO need to hide the base from the locals, etc.

Only after the nukes were dropped was it revealed by DeSylva that there were colonies on Neptune. He and I have already discussed this issue.

It points out a larger issue questioning the degree the RP universe relies on the universe parameters setup by DS and documented in the gaming manuals.

Personally, I have no problem with there being civ.'s on Neptune, I just wish it was a known paramater before I made my story line decissions. Either way, since DeSylva is over the RP side of things, I made it clear that I will abide by his final ruling on the issue.

Akira's right. I made up the civilian bases on Neptune - no manual support. akira made up that there weren't. i'll let Akira stand in this case, as he has more to lose.

I'm toying with writing some more RPG - yes, I know the project has kind of disappeared! I'm considering, though, writing a kind of a "tourist's guide" or resource book, to the universe of 3000AD. i'll keep you posted...*grin*.
