Rattler Posted June 27, 2000 Report Posted June 27, 2000 (RP) OK Pirate, I moved it over here so we won't get lost. As for the rest of you Lilly-Livered, Back Shooting Galcommies, You going to just hide out there in the dark or come in to the firelight so at least one of us can get off a shot at you? Makes no mind to either of us Warriors who takes you out, just that one of us does!Additionally, I'd like to invite the Honorable Driver of GCV Warmonger out for a try at his luck as well. Blades Posted June 27, 2000 Report Posted June 27, 2000 Glad you bothered to notice ORION commanders sigs, Rattler. By your definition of Galcoms commanders loyalty, you will of course note that nobody in my organisation is to be questioned. That by itself is reason enough to explain as to why you fear us so. Theres no denying it. ORION are the Insurgent busters. We perfectly placed to hurt you. We have the perfect (Thanks to RP, general bantering on multiple forums for months now, etc) incentive. Best thing is, we have the perfect people. Where else have you seen a fleet as active as Orion? Rattler Posted June 28, 2000 Author Report Posted June 28, 2000 (RP) That's pretty bold talk for a semi-retired, almost drummed out Galcommie Commander who only got his ship because his Fleet Commander couldn't stomach having him around! Guest Locke1 Posted June 28, 2000 Report Posted June 28, 2000 [RP] No honor among revolutionaries, eh Gallion? hmm, Seems to me if there wasn't honor among rebels your ship wouldn't be the GCV Graf Spee (much as it pains me to give your vessel of plunder and exploitation a formal title), it'd be the HMS Graf Spee. Not teaching history in GHQ these days, are they? Perhaps you need to be reminded what the eternal Insurgent "Don't Tread on Me" symbol means. It is a show of solidarity, Gallion, between the freedom fighters of one generation and another. But I shouldn't bother. The only solidarity GalCom commanders share is when they're drunk beyond recognition, staggering over a galactic map and carving out the universe to their own interests. And next time you find yourselves overwhelmed by the same alien races you sold humanity to, don't come crying to us for help. We'll watch your fleets perish, then defeat the invaders ourselves, and humanity will be better off for it. Charles Lindsey Posted June 28, 2000 Report Posted June 28, 2000 [RP] Nails?!?!? What?!? nails? Now where are they going? Sheesh. Aramike, ShoHashi, I thought you guys had this worked out. Seems the Corsiar has gotten a supply from one of our more unsecure vendors. It had better be a vendor and not one of us. Thanks for checking into it. Personally I don't trust the Corsiar. He has always been a bit off. He accepts our hospitality twice that I know of and then he goes and makes these arguments. I even interviewed him once. Then he talks about honor. Humnph. What Rattler sees in him I don't know. Perhaps the glamour has worn off with this. Seems like it now. Now Mr. Pirate (sanctioned though you may be, a pirate is still a pirate) a man's first loyalty should be to his home. Earth in this case. then to his government, then to his service choice (military, civilian, etc), then to his fleet, wing, and finally to his crew and finally to his ship. Most often the crew makes the ship and not the other way around. Ship crews are tight because they need each other to survive but I beleive you are in the service for your planet first. The primary service (which you well know) is to preserve the planet. Something the UFN has not done a good job of in the last couple hundred years. We are loyal to Earth and all she could be. That is if the UFN would quit ruining her. A necromancer is someone who revives the dead. We will revive the dead Earth the UFN has caused. Nothing of trickster or charlatan in the matter. Be Very careful Corsair. Don't burn too many bridges. You still have to cross mine. Ye remember what happens to these worms after a good nature dousing? They crawl back out of their holes and float in the puddles. Some become fish bait.
