This Book starts at the begining of BC3K (the original game released in 1998) Back then there was no fleets. In the forth chapter we'll start fleets.The line up so far is as follows: Primefleet: Cmdr Demolition Orion Fleet: Cmdr Savage Wraith Fleet: open spot ISS: Open spot Independents: Cmdr Nova and Cainethe above is how the post will go once i get someone from wraith and iss we can beginNova will join Orion when he joins it in the time line of RPto get this straight...at this moment All commander that are officially in a fleet are NOT in a fleet fleets dont exist yet

And the origins of the ISS are another story that has yet to be told.Back on the ol' 4/4/3000...*grin*.Okay. Just checking the Timeline. We seemt o have some discrepancies. According to the timeline...SDF Fleet (now defunct) was formed in 2990 (as part of Earth Command), detatched from EC to join GalCOM with it's formation in 2995, and since been disbanded.Orion Fleet was formed in September 2995.Wraith Fleet was formed in December 2998.The ISS was formed in February 3000.So what do we do? Change the start-up dates for the Fleets, if Orion and Wraith are in agreement? I guess with BC:M on it's way we have around 15 years to play with, although there needs to be an Orion by the year 2004 (as it existed in Preemptive Strike). There also has to be a Wraith (as Gallion was in Wraith by that time). Actually, there are mentions of Orion, Wraith, and the ISS during the 1st Gammulan War, and that was in August 3000.Don't want to rain on your parade, and I'd love to take part, but how shall we resolve these inconsistencies? *grin*. And if anyone says "quantum physics" they'll get slapped around the head...

I don't want to go around changing the histories of our dear old RP's. And, I'm sure no one else does.Also, to add to what DeSylva said, I'd like to also remind you: in the game (I'm not sure which/all versions), there were HQ stations for Orion, Wraith, ISS, SCID, and even Spectre Fleet..... And remember, the game starts back in 4-4-3000.You could push back the date of it back a bit, and/or include some/all of the fleets, already formed.....Heh, 3000. That means Nova's still in his late teens! Nice way to bring about my back-story..... Now it was changed to the GalCom Logo. Looks like Den Dee is back......
Blades Posted September 7, 2001 Report Posted September 7, 2001 Whenever the fleets were established, they should be left as is. Dont go messing with history. Even though when we all first started playing the game (Well, us vets anyway) the fleets didnt exist, in the BC timeline, they exist from the points previously detailed. Best course of action is this :-Assume either that the participants hadnt been assigned to a fleet from commision date (04/04/3000) or that they were on detatched duty.Simple.
demolition Posted September 8, 2001 Author Report Posted September 8, 2001 I agree with blades posti originally started writing this book a while back as the tale of Demolitionin the 4th chapter( the fourth day) i brought fleets in as i checked and got up to date and found out that fleets existed..so, for the story line, you had to prove that you could last 4 days, before they let you choose a fleet Sound good for you guys?

Schoolwork is just going to be too heavy for me to do anything of worth. That and also it would require serious re-writing of my character history...more things I won't have time for.Again I'm sorry, and I wish I could have joined in. It promises to be a good story, and I'm going to follow it closely even if I can't actually post.
