Cmdr Nova Posted October 9, 2001 Report Posted October 9, 2001 (Press releases copied from the Misc. Race/Caste Forum; RP-ing by me )First off the bat: GNN->Galcom/Galactic (take your choice, it doesn't matter in the following RP) News Network TIN->The Independent NetworkLet the games begin!(RP)(cheesy news anchor voice) Hello. This is Jimmy Carlson, for GNN, Velari. In a statement given to us, by our media affiliates in the area, we have recieved word of a new Corporation, to cover clients all over the galaxy, using a unique combination of several of the "Undesignated Zone" markets. Here's the report:PRESS RELEASE In a short statement an Intercorp official stated that, as of yesterday 14:23, the corporation has three directors. The founding directors, according to the spokesman, found that the corporation needed additional support in a number of areas and were glad to have found it in this person. However, for the time being the identity of the third director remains classified due to the nature and history of the persons involved. The newly formed alliance will now direct their attention to the new opportunities and will become active in these fields shortly. The spokesman refused to go into further details and did not answer any questions. The memberlist release by Intercorp reads Jeffery Eu (director Guns For Hire Inc.) Outlaw (Guns for Hire Inc.) Jiguko San (Guns for Hire Inc.) Baloogan (HR Division) Director 3 (Division D, B Branch) Riga (Commodity Inc.) They are still looking for new members, but stress that it's business as usual for non members as well. END PRESS RELEASE(cheesy anchor voice continues) In an astounding turn of events, investments in "Undesignated Zone" services have nearly tripled and...(cheesy anchor voice gets cut off)zzzzzzBuzzzzzzzz (Changes the Channel) zzzzzzBuzzzzzzzzTIN-The Independent Network.(Larry King-type guy) "We're back. Now on with our interview with Commercial commander, Craig Adams. A worty businessman, but an Indie supporter, he is criticized by Galcom for sympathizing for Raiders and other "lower castes".""The press release from Intercorp Unlimited marks a huge step in our (the Indies), rights and ability to be heard. Without a structured system, we look like fools, and are cast-out from society. I tell you, we are more organized than some of those supposedly powerful fleets are, my good man! I suppose you remember your ancient history courses? The United States was criticized by other nations, not being seen as it's own soverign state, until it had structure! This should push off to the side, stereotypes that we are all uncivilized savages! I say, though, that we sill will keep our neutral stance against the Insurgency and Galcom, but this should show them that we are still people on the inside---"(gets cut off)(news anchor) We have a special report from our Pixan news center. In reaction to the first Press Release from Intercorp, the Supreme Commander of Galcom (who knew about the formation of this corportation from Day One, casting it aside as a useless and short-lived call to organization), had these few words to say: "You guys must be pretty darn serious. " (source of quote)In reaction to that message, an unnamed ranking official, believed to be a co-founder of Intercorp had this to say: quote:LOL, this calls for another press release PRESS RELEASE (mumble, mumble)notSix guys on the dole recently decided to band together and formed a corporation. The corporation was funded by selling bubblegum to underaged teanagers with a personality disorder.Local authorities were petitioned in order to get them recognized but failed since the building progress of their virtual world was not yet fully completed. Stubbornly they insisted and managed to write a six page letter of intent to the local deity, an entity purely made of energy.Confident in the future they continue their efforts.END PRESS RELEASE (mumble, mumble)not*evil grin* Obviously, spirits are high for Intercorp and it's leaders. We'll have more coming soon as it comes out. This is Katy Brunett, TIN, over and out.(/RP)The Indie movement is in full swing. Even SC is starting to notice! Hehehe.... bwwahahahahahahah!!!! *ahem* It has begun![ 10-08-2001: Message edited by: Cmdr Nova ]
