Mission: Rescue squadron of Interceptors from Insurgent clutches

"Commander's Log, stardate: March 31,3022."

Today is my birthday. We have been assigned to a search and rescue operation. Seems a squadron of interceptors have biten off more then they could chew. Iplan to contact Beta Wing and get the ball rolling with this operation. They were caught deep in Insurgent territory. Though I don't know how deep that is. They were caught in Bernard's Star system and i have my doubts that they have lived.

Commander Elio Jason stood on the Invader's bridge. The Invader was at least 7 kilometers from the Sol Sytem wormhole.

"Have you contacted Beat Wing members and asked for some help?" Elio asked his comms officer.

"Yes sir. Expecting a response in the next few hours."

"OK. Derrick ETA till the jump?"

"30 seconds and counting sir."

Elio looked forward and in a moment the Invader went through the wormhole.

"ETA till we get to Bernard's Star?"

"About 1 hour sir." his comms officer replied.

OK. Let's make this short and sweet.

Mission: Rescue squadron of interceptors

"Commander's log, stardate: April 1, 3022."

No trace of were the interceptor's position was when they got hit or something. No response from Beta Wing yet. I plan to contact Commander Demolition and his wing for assistance if needed.

"Sir! I just got an SOS!" Elio's comms officer yelled.

"Let me hear it.' Elio said.

"Help! I repeat HE**! We have been attacked by some Gam***** sh*** as well ** so** Insur**** ship*. Pl**se HELP!"

"Sygan...smack in the middle of Insurgent territory." Elio said grimly.

"Set a course for Sygan. Put us on Red alert. Raise the shields. Turn up the weapons. Prep the Interceptors!" Elio barked

I thought this was suppsoed to be a 3 hour tour.

Spacial Coordinates: Claoked in orbit around Sygan.

Mission: Get another signal from interceptors

"Commander's log, stardate: April 4, 3022."

We recieved a huge amount of signals the other day. We recieved about 10. All were jammed. No response from Beta Wing. Sure seems like i'm alone on this one.

Commander Elio stood tensely in his chair. He was upset and desperate. No response from Beta Wing had come in and so it seemed like he was alone on this one.

Next too him. His comms officer was switchign frequencies, trying to get something from the Interceptors.

"Urgent message recieved." the Invader's computer said.

"Play it." Elio commanded.

"Interceptor squad to anyone out there. We have crashed on the planet. Our leader has been killed in a firefight with the Insurgents. I don't know how much longer we can hold out. We are running low supplies and the Insurgents continue to approach our position. We have tried our best to repel them but reenforcements kept coming and we driven into a deeper hole. Location is Sygan Mission Zone Z." blaster fire was heard in the distance and then it turned off.

"Zarui! Are the troops prepped?" Elio barked.

"Troops are prepped sir." repleid the Empirian.

"Get them to all shuttles. Prep the Interceptors and get us out of cloak. Get us down there now!" Elio said.

He saw the crew rushing to relay the orders and saw that, i moments, the Interceptors were ready and the shuttles were loaded.

"Get us down there now Eric!" Elio said.

"Yes sir." Eric replied.

Elio sat tensely and prayed he wasn't too late.

April 6, 3022

Coordinates: Sygan Mission Zone 1

Mission: Rescue interceptors at ALL COSTS

"Take cover!"

Laser fire scortched the air on Sygan. The troops and the 12 pilots and co-pilots of the itnerceptor squadron were duking it out with Insurgent shock troops.

"Keep firing! The Invader will be here soon!"

As soon as he was gfinished he was shot in the leg and fell to the ground. Next to him his partner took his gun and fired with both of the weapons.

Up in the sky, laser fire rained down on the Insurgent troops. They were caught by surprise and in the air was the unmistakable shape of an MK2.

Within moments the interceptor pilots annd Elio's troops were beamed up to the Invader.

As the Invader flew away, the Insurgents took potshots but there efforts were futile.

Sygan Orbit

"You have the nuclear missile ready? Elio asked his tactical officer.

"Yes sir. Aimed at Insurgent base." he replied.

"Fire and get us the bloody hell out of here." Elio repleid.

"Yes sir." the tactical officer replied.

Within moments the Invader had jumped to the jumpgate. In fewer moments it was through.

"SIR! Hostiles on radar! Uncloaking behind us!"

"Damnit! Get us to planet Lennen now!" Elio said.

In moments the sleek Invader had made it to the planet Lennen but the ships were close behind.

"What ships are those?" Elio asked.

"Insurgent MK3s." his radar officer replied grimly.

"Crap....." Elio said.

The shps was rocked by missile suddenly and Elio found that the ships engines were already gone and they were heading straight through Lennen's atmosphere.

"Send an SOS to all Prime fleet wings! Tell them we need back up!! We need back up!!!" Elio said.

The comms officer sent the message but the Invader was rocked again and Elio found the world around him gonig black.

GCV-Eliminator

"Sir, incoming transmission from Cmdr Elio of Beta wing"

"Put it through"

"Its a SOS sir"

"Put it on intercoms"

"This is Cmdr Elio of the GCV-Invader, we are under attack by 2 Insurgent MK3s, we request asistance from anyone who gets this message. We are in Lennons atmosphere. Elio, over and out."

"Get this ship moving, we're heading for Lennon, Call the wing up we move as a wing on this one."

"Yes sir."

Demolition and his wing where under way within 15 minutes. They would Reach Lennon in a half an hour. Demolition would once again be in battle with Elio. Hopefully, they both came out alive.

Elio woke up with a pain in his head. He touched his head, feeling a bandage. He got up and walked out of the tent he was in. He saw bodies on the ground and troops near a gate.

"How are you doing sir?" Derrick said, coming up to him.

"I've been better. What's our status?"Elio said.

"Not so good. Resources are low. We have raided a few Insurgent camps but we have quickly used the supplies. The Invader is in the trees." Derrick pointed to the trees.

"It's engines are almost back and we should have the core running anyday now. Here, grab a rifle." Derrick said.

Elio took the rifle and looked around.

"Insurgents! Insurgents!" a watchmen screamed.

Instantly, troops took cover. Elio took cover neard Derrick Anderson. Next to him, a marine fell, dead. Elio grabbed his weapon and looked ahead.

He saw a whole bunch of troops approaching them. He aimed his rifle and let out several bursts of fire, falling 2 troops.

"Sir, we believe a Prime fleet member got our message before we crashed."Derrick said. Derrick fired several shots, getting down 2 troops.

"OK. Hopefully we will get some backup in time."Elio said. Elio fired off more rounds, taking down 2 nore troops.

The fighting continued all through the day and night.

"SIR! 2 MK2s are coming from the sky!"One of Elio's officer screamed.

"Looks like the predators have come for there prey. Get to the Invader and hide around. Damnit!! Were is our help?"Elio said

Instantly his troops hid in the bushes. As the MK2s landed Elio hoped they wouldn't be spotted.

Intel reports that Commander Elio Jason is either KIA OR MIA. All search and rescue efforts have proved worthless. Commander Demolition of Epsilon wing is also missing ad search efforts have a dwindling hope that they are still alive.

"Sir, the time to launch is now."cam Derrick Anderson's voice.

The MK3S had given up searching the GCV-Invader and the GCV-Invader wa sback to it's regular status.

"We launch now. Get everyone into the ship." Elio said.

"Aye sir." Derrick siad.

Elio watched as Derricm brought the troops,the officers, and the medics into the GCV-Invader hidden within the trees.

GCV-Invader Bridge

"Engage the engines!" Elio said.

With a rock the Invader lifted and flew upwards, gaining attitude.

'let's test these weapons/" Elio said.

The GCV-invader adjusted speed and position and fired a barrage of missiles at the Insurgent camp. The Insurgents panicked and ran, a few firing back at the Invader.

"Derrick get us the hell of this rock.' Elio said with a grin/

"Aye sir." Derrick replied.

The GCV-Invader shifted again and ros eupward to the atmosphere, disappearing among the clouds........

Intel reports that the GCV-Invader has returned to GalComHQ. All the crew but a few marines came back in piece. The GCV-Invader is resupplying it's food resources,repair resources, and recruiting marines as well as getting a shore leave.

Commander Elio Jason stared out the window of his place. Seeing the blackness of spcae and a few stars. He also noticed Earth.

"Please rest sir." the medic's calm voice said.

"Ok. Ok." Elio replied and sighed going to a sleep.

Commander Elio Jason was awarded the Award for Gallantry the next day for he and his brave crew's efforts to survive. Many recruits have come to Galcom to follow the same path Commander Elio followed.
