I read in another thread "Open API.." that SC wrote a couple of articles.. I looked around a little, but I didn't find anything - (I found an article on AILOG tho but it was just an overview smile.gif )

Where could I find these articles - even search points would be helpful.

Is AILOG a language people can use? Is anything written on it?

I don't pretend to know anything about AI. I took a few courses and I have a book by Russel/Norvig which I have to go thru again, also a book on fuzzy logic which is damn good and I have to go thru that too. Can anyone recommend good BOOKS on it? I mean stuff that I can gradually work my way up on? I'll probably just end up sitting in a grad course somewhere tho...

Also, what kind of math do I need to know? I picked up a few books on neural networks and game ai, but both had equations that I just didn't understand, so I was stumped from the get go. I did take a few good math courses way back when, Real Analysis, Partial Diff, and Algebra.. but this stuff is just all greek to me.

I'll check out the links in derek's section for ai stuff. I'm sure I'll find a lot there, but it's always nice to hear whatever people recommend.

AILOG is my own internal language which I developed and is based on my PH.D. thesis. It is not available in public, hence the reason my thesis is suppressed (not listed).

AI is very complex - so yes, I'd suggest you follow the links I have provided to some good AI resources.
