Gallion Posted May 16, 2000 Report Posted May 16, 2000 This is a General Announcement and open invitation to all to attend the Second Annual BC3K Convention that will be held at the Rattler's Den (actual) 10-12 June 2000.Current confirmed attendees to date are those that were in attendance at last year's mini-convention.This will be a BYC (Bring Your own network capable Computer and copy of BC3K) event. Accommadations will be Spartan - IOW the be plenty of floor space Activities range from who is the best to actual head to head confrontation (dependant upon availablity of various products). Bragging rights will go to those that win the various planned and unplanned competitions.More luxurious accommadations are within reasonable commuting distance - hotel/motel.RSVP is not required but at least one-minute notification prior to arrival and knocking on the door of the Den is requested.POC for this activity is Rattler - via ICQ or e-mail - check his profile for details.TTFN and look forward to meeting any and all that can make it.[This message has been edited by Gallion (edited 05-17-2000).]

I need to go to Florida sometime anyhow because I'd like to tour KSC and see a shuttle launch.

Stop at the First Gas Station that you come to (about 100 yards and give me a call. Charles Lindsey Posted June 17, 2000 Report Posted June 17, 2000 Once again Rattler proved the consummate host. Snafu was the perfect hostess. In fact she did too much. Way too much. Take her out to dinner for me Rattler. We played BC3K to death. . I got lot's of coaching on the first few (first TOD is as far as I think I got) ACM missions. hehe. I'm sorry I didn't save those profiles to a disk and bring them home. I should have brought them home. Snafu's 'puter took everything I threw at it. I downloaded a couple small demo's and showed them off. Then I snagged every Thief demo I could find and the System Shock 2 demo as well. I also installed demo's off the two Eidos demo disks we had as well. It was a champ I tell ya. I'm sure Rattler is still cussing me for the defrag he probably needs to run. I deem it a success.
