Nascar has lost a hero

I know this is not a Nascar forum, but I just wanted to let my friends on this forum know that Dale Earnhardt has died from an injury that happened in a crash on the last lap of the Daytona 500. I was'nt even an Earnhardt fan, Jeff Gordon is my fav., still my heart is heavy as I had alot of respect for him. Just to let everyone know.

WOW! What a surprise! I enjoy watching car races from time to time and Dale had been around for years! He wasn't my favorite driver either, but he was good and more importantly, he had good character/class. He will be missed by a lot of people!

I see so many nasty wrecks during those races when the driver walks away it is easy, as a fan anyway, to forget how dangerous those wrecks really are.
