GREG MILLER Posted August 21, 2001 Report Posted August 21, 2001 Choke, Cough, ChokeI really need to stop reading these boards while consuming my lunch.
Badgerius Posted August 21, 2001 Report Posted August 21, 2001 Addendum to previous announcement:In a further blow to Paul Resnig's fate, it has been discovered that the dna storage facility where his genetic material was stored has been struck by a meteor. This, unfortunately, removes the possibility of cloning Lt. Resnig and returning him to active service.
Guest Remo Williams Posted August 21, 2001 Report Posted August 21, 2001 HURRAY!! oops! I mean rest in peace paul. Hey Badgerius wasn't the GCV-Diligence tractoring a meteor this morning? LOL!!
Eclipse Posted August 21, 2001 Report Posted August 21, 2001 You actually managed to kill him permanently?
Epsilon 5 Posted August 21, 2001 Report Posted August 21, 2001 quote:Originally posted by Remo Williams: Hey Badgerius wasn't the GCV-Diligence tractoring a meteor this morning? LOL!! I've been asked to conduct an investigation on the subject. Here's my report:[-------------------------------------------] SENDER : Cmdr. Epsilon 5 RECEIVER : Cmdr. Badgerius CC : Galactic Command headquarters STARDATE : 2001.08.21 SUBJECT : Report on possible obliteration of cloning data by Cmdr. Badgerius.Greeting commander, As the subject says, you have been accused of striking the GCV- Narf's dna storage with a large meteoric object. Due to several proofs we were able to gather, including, but not limited to, the only destruction of Lt. Resnig dna data while he was awaiting his cloning due to a recent death in a transporter malfunction, you have been convicted of first degree murder on the person of Lieutenant Paul Resnig, ex-combat officer of the GCV - Narf. You are hereby sentenced to present yourself in the Supreme Janitor's office to be given the "Award for useful personnel cleaning".--- Cmdr. Guest $iLk Posted August 21, 2001 Report Posted August 21, 2001 Yeah, and kept pushing your marines till they were ready to break and kill him so they could take a 5 minute break.
Badgerius Posted August 21, 2001 Report Posted August 21, 2001 Supreme Janitor's office... Isn't that Blades' old Job No wait, he was a clerk, wasn't he?I gladly accept this award, but I'd like to clear something up. How can I murder someone who is already dead?

Rico Jansen Posted August 22, 2001 Report Posted August 22, 2001 quote:We all will miss his presence on bridge.Yeah, like toothache.
Guest Billy Bob Posted August 22, 2001 Report Posted August 22, 2001 and the party...oops, I mean wake begins at 1701?
R_wilco Posted August 22, 2001 Report Posted August 22, 2001 IMO, he SHOULD have been saying ,"Marine is ready", not "Marines ready", since he says it when ONE marine is ready at the time. Does...er, DID he do a bad job commanding troops? Or is it better to just command them yourself?
Rico Jansen Posted August 22, 2001 Report Posted August 22, 2001 Resnig is/was notorious for constantly repeating "Marines ready for combat deployment", eventhough the ratio of on-station/off-station marines didn't change. And also for countering your orders when you manually assigned marines to a certain task. Whatever you did, he would know better. That made him our eternal scapegoat.Unfortunately, he is a valuable assest when it comes to noticing boarded intruders. If he is not on station, you are likely to give them free reign without noticing. And so risk loosing support craft when you have not cut power to launch control.[ 08-22-2001: Message edited by: Rico Jansen ]
