Where can I get some fonts?

I want like 1000 fonts or something to choose from as I am currently working on a project.

sorry about all these help threads everybody, but I believe that with the good nature of the community around here everyone is willing to help who can.

You could try these guys. It's where I found the font for the Balor Fleet Web Page

It's very graphics intensive as it shows you a set of example letters instead of just description but it's a pretty good page.

Bet a good search engine would pull up tons more.

Hey guys, I need a few moments of your time for a little survey thingo.

I'm thinking about writing my game review site with a font called Monotype Corsiva (among others) in an attempt to present an "archive paper" metaphor.

Before I can do that, I need to know if Monotype Corsiva is a common font (ie installed on most computers).

So, could you please take a look at the Fonts directory on your computer and see if you have it? I would need to know the OS you're using and whether you have it or not.

I've got 3 WinNT 4.0 machines: NO

I've got 5 Win2000 machines: YES

That's by default, right of the windows installation cd.

I checked several OS installations in my house as well.

Win 98: Yes

WinNT4.0: Yes

WinNT4.0: Yes

WinNT4.0: No

Win95: No

Linux-Mandrake 8.0: No

I first encountered the font on a computer at the University I attend.

MacOS 8.6: Yes
