A little Irish humor

After the Great Britain Beer Festival, in London, all the

brewery presidents decided to go out for a beer.

The guy from Corona sits down and says, 'Hey Senor,

I would like the world's best beer, a Corona.'

The bartender dusts off a bottle from the shelf and gives it to him.

The guy from Budweiser says, 'I'd like the best beer in the world,

give me 'The King Of Beers', a Budweiser.'

The bartender gives him one.

The guy from Coors says, 'I'd like the only beer made with

Rocky Mountain spring water, give me a Coors.' He gets it.

The guy from Guinness sits down and says, 'Give me a Coke.'

The bartender is a little taken aback, but gives him what he ordered.

The other brewery presidents look over at him and ask,

Why aren't you drinking a Guinness?'

The Guinness president replies...

'Well, I figured if you guys aren't drinking beer, neither would I!'

Ah, you yanks dont have beer. You have Gallions favorite tipple, lager. Then again, your lager is probably amongst the worst in the world. I've drunk Polish plonk that tastes better than Budweiser. Take it from me, you want a decent lager, stay away from the home brew and get yourself a decent German bier.

I would recomend Becks.

While Im at it, English beer is even more foul tasting than Budweiser, Guinness or any other stout in existance. Then again, considering the average English male cant tollerate spirits of any kind, it's safer to drink beer than anything else - unless you live in the south. If you live in the south, you're not allowed to drink beer. You have to drink lager. If you live in the south and drink lager, the northeners (Who only drink beer) will taunt you - calling you a southern shandy drinker. Sadly for the northeners, most of what they consider to be the best beer in the land is brewed in the south. Southeners get their own back by urinating in the beer vats and exporting the soddin lot to the north.

End of the day, whatever you drink, it's diluted piss water. Unless you drink Guinness - and I dont even wanna think about getting started on that.

LOL! I'm way ahead of you there blades. My family arrived here in the states in the early 1800s from Germany and I learned well at and early age from my great great grand father which was the best.

I have to say that apart from the best drink in the world ie Guinness, the Belgians and the Czechs make the best beer in the world; smooth, tasty and often strong as hell.

And Blades, I'm a Southerner (by birth) and I take exception to the fact that we all drink lager. It is a complete fallacy, and it is widely accepted that we all, in fact, drink Pimms, accompanied by a nice fruit salad, often actually in the Pimms itself. With mint.

The only time I was in the US was at a congress in Norfolk, all the guys were drinking Miller Lite, ugh, more like Miller f*cking soda water if you ask me.

I drink shots of neat whiskeys. I agree that normal English people can't tollerate alcohol too well. But I lived in Glasgow for many years and I've been "trained" by the best.

Come to think of it, the Americans (no offense) are lightweights compared to the English. In Uni all but one of my American friends would puke up after only 6 pints . But then again we do have a head start (18 legal age instead of 21 )
