Emblazed on its cover is the latest exspansion to Everquest... and you know what else is in it?A free copy of original everquest full and everything. I'm not saying thats a bad thing. But all i think this is a evil ploy to get newbie gamers in there grasp. they show al the pritty new graphics and the horses in the new expansion. And the average know nothing gamer wants the new stuff even more.and what a bout the first exspansion, can you even get theat separtly in stores or are they gonna folow up on this and give the first exspansion free too? (damn and i was fooled in to paying 25 bucks for both.. )what do you think about all this... Have they gone a little to far?Edit: speeling....

I spent most of my time following the powerful people and looting their kills.Then I sold the stuff and spent it on cool cloaks and all.I met my end to a rat. And one time a snake. After that I just ran around like a "violated Japanese schoolgirl" every time that I saw something slithering.I got lots of Firebeetle eyes and rat heads or whatever. Then I sold them to some big fat guy and he gave me copper, and one time silver!Then I figured out the /bird command and went around flipping people off until they got mad and chased me around the towns until some guards stopped them.Not much different than text based muds I used to play.Anyone remember Zmud?

I'm really hoping that this one is worth it's weight in chicken stuff.Although, I'm not sure what a good idea that is with Myth 3, Civ 3, AvP2, Aquanox, and BCM all comming out this week (I have every last one pre-ordered and fully paid for). But, hey, if I need some more game time I can just neglect a little more schoolwork. No worries.

For Derek, it was to reclaim his reputation, but releasing the original version for free was a strategy that worked.
Epsilon 5 Posted October 30, 2001 Report Posted October 30, 2001 Now I want my Solar Wars ep2 from the greedy Epic Megagames.That game is about 7-8 years old and the only way I can get it (from them) is to order it in a pack of 10+ classic games for 39 us + s&h...Thye are always making expansions to mmorpgs... why can't they upgrade the current users?Now you'll have the same amount of people playing EQ but only half of then in the "latest world", the other half playing the older versions.

Its the female High Elf avatar.I reactivated my EQ account this week, been playing it, found its still kinda fun, but it very quickly becomes monotonous and pointless. The GM's could make awesome events but those potheads have no clue how to make things fun and always end up doing lame "find me and get stuff" or "endless spawn of critters dropping rare loot"... and always always ends up in people not cooperating with the event, people being asses to each other, gm's getting frustrated and leaving.They should hire ME

I often thought about being a GM for GCO...- Decides to create NPC gam invasion in sol, oops! Too much... can't undo... must create terran ships...NNOOO not credian, TERRAN, ahh better...oh damn not insurgent, MILITARY!Hmm now why does the game lag?That's it I create a pad on my ship and kill 'em all mouahahaha!(I'm bored)
