salisbury Posted November 15, 2001 Report Posted November 15, 2001 WHAT DOES TTFN MEAN?!?!??!?????!???!?!?!?????
salisbury Posted November 15, 2001 Author Report Posted November 15, 2001 i can't thank you enough, TTFN has givin me so many problems, and i am usually so good with acronyms.
aramike Posted November 15, 2001 Report Posted November 15, 2001 Come on now, Nova -- took me 3 months to figure that one out. Be nice to the newbies. Topic moved.
salisbury Posted November 15, 2001 Author Report Posted November 15, 2001 Thank you aramike. It is strange, you must have been moving the topic just as i tried deleting it from the BCM general discussions board, because now it won't let me enter the edit mode. Is that just a side effect of having the topic closed?
aramike Posted November 15, 2001 Report Posted November 15, 2001 Nah, not a side-effect. Only admins can delete full topics.I'll delete it. I usually just close the topic for awhile so people can know that it was simply moved rather than deleted.[ 11-15-2001: Message edited by: aramike ]

Your post is the first time I've seen it.Here is a fairly good listing of emoticons/acronyms.[ 11-15-2001: Message edited by: Tyrn ]

Fendi Posted November 16, 2001 Report Posted November 16, 2001 Cheers Tyrn. I've been trying to figure that out for a long time now. I saw it somewhere during my old counterstrike days (yes sad but true). Well TTFN.
KreKol Posted November 16, 2001 Report Posted November 16, 2001 You can always tell who does not have any Kids!!!! I have seen more Pooh with kids then I have ever seen without kids.
Cmdr Nova Posted November 16, 2001 Report Posted November 16, 2001 quote:See nova, I'm not the only "clueless" one. Sorry for giving you the heat, salisbury.... Speaking of clueless newbies, can you imagine which newbie registered several times in the forum, and twice in the Fleet DB? (Here.)Funny, because that week, I was out on vacation, I didn't even see that thread until like August.Heh, I think I had like 2 or more Forum Usernames back then....... (I think the SC's forgiven me or forgotten by now... But just in case--forgive me for being such a pest, please! ) Man, I haven't seen anyone else nearly as clueless as that yet. So if you want to talk clueless, look at how I used to be. (*Ugh*, reading that thread makes me shudder..... What was I thinking back then?) TTFN. Er, um, I mean Nova, over and out.
