Winamp3: Sweet!

I've gotta tell you. Winamp3 is great. You've got all the options of the original Winamp, and now more. It's got a media library thing now, and it also supports video files now!

And the one thing I've been using a lot lately is that opacity setting. Ahhh.. Gotta love that semi-transparent goodness. (Check out a screenshot of minehere. Sweet, eh?) Mad props to the Winamp3 people.

Oh yeah, and you can get it here. It's still a beta, and you might have to manually set the file associations (the box in the options menu only works partially), but I like it a lot and think it's worth it.

Thanks for the update, Nova. I'm a big user of WinAmp. Speaking of which..I noticed you have a couple of Japanese MP3s. Care to let me know a particular place that you got them? I usually use Kazaa to seach for them..but even with DSL, the downloads take a while on much of them. Plus, I'd like to know of a site that tells what J-Pop songs are hot.

Kazaa/Morpheus. THey're both on the same network... Being able to find a fast user to download off of depends on what day you download. Weekends are great to do that kinda thing.

I wouldn't know about anywhere to find good J-Pop songs. Most of mine are ones that friends told me about.

The new Winamp is pretty awesome, I've been watching it since the first beta came out. I'm still using 2 since I've found a few glitches/incomplete features in 3 that I'm not too fond of. All in all its gonna be awesome when its complete.
