I'm all for a polite discussion but cutting down a person's intelligence seem to me to be going a bit too far. Not that I am totally innocent but if we are so vehement in our views that we can't argue dispassionately we need to quit. There. I said it.

There have been a few nasty things said, but this is out of reams of posts. It simply doesnÔÇÖt compare with usenet, your making it sound about a thousand times worse then it is. If anything, these threads have been surprisingly civil considering the topics. But they didn't. I think it is the blunt format of some posts that comes from a direct type of personality that can offend others. It is called discussion and debate, and yes, it has gotten a little heated, but I don't think any of it has gone over the line. Like I said, if it had, I would have deleted the post.
