Blades Posted June 20, 2002 Report Posted June 20, 2002 And dont forget the magic of Michael Owen and Emile Heskey up front. Them being LIVERPOOL FC players by the way. Tomorrow we beat Brazil and Germany thrash America. Better get to bed early for this one ...

Guest Remo Williams Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 Brazilians ecstatic! Better luck next time England.
Kartoffel Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 Heh... England's not all-powerful, blades. rant But US vs Germany, what utter garbage. 1-0 Germany?!? Germany played dirty, and the referee was stupefyingly pro-germany! A german guy trips himself, and the US is blamed. GARBAGE! The goal US scored wasnt even counted! Garbage! /rant
Urza Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 Germany wins, 1-0. Well, that's the end of that. We had two golden opportunities to score, too. That arm incident was a rip off.
Commander Elio Jason Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 i'm just patiently waiting to see if Spain beats South Korea or not.
Guest Grayfox Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 quote:Originally posted by Blades: Tomorrow we beat Brazil and Germany thrash America. well... england wont be beating anyone. neither will the US. i dont know where they found the ref for the US ger match but he should be flogged... then caned for being blind and stupid. that first US goal should have counted it crossed the goal line AND hit the german players arm... oh well they dont have the benefit of instant replay that us fans do... now i really dont care who wins, both my teams are out
Blades Posted June 21, 2002 Report Posted June 21, 2002 *sigh* And this tournaments England Donkey Award goes to the Arsenal Keeper. Or maybe I should give it to Sven for not pulling him off the second after he almost snapped his back after going over Cambell? Bah, it matters not. A good first half died the instant Seamen had his tussle. The game was over when he just stood there and watched the ball fly in from 30 yards and right over his head and into the net. Bah! Still, the Brazilians played a good first half, and once they took the lead in the early part of the second and dug in deep after havin their boy sent off, it was an uphill struggle to break through. In all honesty, we sucked ass in the second half. We deserved to be beaten, but we didnt deserve to go out with such a whimper. But never fear boys and girlf, the Three Lions will be back. Watch out Euro2004 - The English have another point to prove.
Guest Remo Williams Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 Wow, maybe someone should tell them its only a game. [ 06-23-2002, 03:33 AM: Message edited by: Remo Williams ]
Epsilon 5 Posted June 23, 2002 Report Posted June 23, 2002 It's not a game, it's a religion, its about patriotism, it's about the heart of the people
