nope... its all mainstream titles...

all the games mentioned though are great, however i believe the bc series should be mentioned.

I guess the fact that he (the person who started the thread) didn't even mention such notables as the Freespace series wasn't a clue that he's just a clueless git who doesn't know enough about space sims to even start thinking about eulogizing them?

Anyone who wants to lament the decline of space sims, would be someone who has actually *gasp* played the best of the best.

Anyway, your [Vanethian] post pretty much says it all. They're clueless.

Ridiculous... very free form? well... maybe he was just joking or maybe he is just crazy!

Why iwar2 so cheap is obvious. It's a lousy game.

Edit: Even if they played BCM, they would still probably think it sucked, since what they had mentioned in that thread are all relatively fast-paced games with a lot of combat and very little peace. BCM is almost the opposite. Long periods of relative peace/boredom with pockets of intense combat every now & then.
