Guest Buzz Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 here' a 3DO story for yas all. I had purchased HighHeat for the PC which was actually a good game it's just that the AI cheated all the time and internet play was buggy. SO they released a patch for the game to fix internet play, but, this patch also messed up the mound visits (which was suppose to be a major feature of the game play) and after e-mailing 3DO they stated to me that they would not be issuing another patch to fix the problem. (huh 1 patch? )They told me that I would have to wait until next years version of the game came out for the fix to be implemented (thats some kind of marketing scam eh!you broke it you fix it) Oh yea was at EB once and seen this years version of the game on the shelf for +- $60.00. Next week I went back it was down to -+ $30.00 But I still didn't buy it! People have come to expect more from software manufactures especially when there shelling out their (hard) Earned money and it has to do with something lawyers call CONSUMER FRAUD Keep Up The Great Work SC nuff said
