The band's been around for a while, but they're just now getting their major label debut, and such. The band sounds a bit like Linkin Park, a bit goth, a bit metal, a bit pure hard rock, a bit Tori Amos. Depends on what song. They've got a pretty good amount of variation in their song styles (which I've never really seen before), and their lyrics are pretty deep, like poetry. Anyway, there goes my fan plug. The movie looks sw00t. I like what I see in the previews, combat wise. ( Spiderman - cheezy powers ) + ( The Matrix - cheezy effects ) That's what it looks like it's adding up to. I'm looking to see more, so I'll probably end up seeing it when it's out.
Guest Grayfox Posted January 25, 2003 Report Posted January 25, 2003 i dunno about this one... looks like yet another comic book movie theyll butcher. ben afleck as daredevil??? cmon i mean cmon the kingpin was white fer the love of pete. they could of found one fat bald man. its cool theyll have bullseye in it (out of costume of course) but i dunno... i might blow the 5$ and go see a matinee but i dont think ill spend the full 8. now it makes me wonder on how good the hulk is going to be???

I agree about Kingpin though I like Micheal Clark Duncan but it makes about as much since to make him black as it would to cast Matt Damon as the Black Panther. BTW I saw a trailer on TV for the Hulk and after seeing it there is no way I won't be the first person in line when it comes out. Ang Lee is one of the best directors in the world and it is not possible for him to make a film that will suck as much as Batman and Robin or Superman 4: The Quest for Peace. Mark my words this movie will not suck!

Actually i think michael clark duncan would have made a good hulk if they didnt go with the SFX. and i believe matt damon would have made a better daredevil. well after these 2 come out, whats next??? powerman and ironfist? fantastic 4? the avengers (someone needs to avenge that crappy early 90's captain america flick)?? another spiderman movie where he takes on the sinister 6??? the black panther (michael jai white fits that to a tee)?? i just hope if they do anymore CB movies they dont butcher them too much... id hate to go on a killing spree...
