Unless you're simply putting up TONS of articles from other sites, that should be okay, you know, for reference or informative use. SC's policy looks good as-is.

Guest Posted January 13, 2003 Report Posted January 13, 2003 Probably comes as NO surprise to anyone that I was involved in some of the goings on and policy discussions at FreeRepublic as this was breaking out. I have just moved the policies here as well. If a source is not given, or a link provided, the post disapears. I have erred on the side of caution a few times and have upset a few people because of that silent policy. But, my first reponsibility is to the SC and then the forum, and then the users. The policy as it stands will hold up to legal challenge, but there will not be any, this board is too specialized and shall I say, A-political to get involved in such things. The Washington times and a few others DO NOT like FreeRepublic and wanted it shut down, they failed, but the policy here is a safeguard, and so far has done just fine. I think the policy should stand as it is, full article is fine, as LONG as the source is linked and author is given credit. If there is not a link, then at least state the source. If either of those 2 things are missing, the post disapears. Easy stuff.
