Guest Hellbinder[CE] Posted June 16, 2003 Report Posted June 16, 2003 Well Ebert and roper both gave it 2 thumbs up so i knew that was going to be the begining of something special. There are currently 3 reviews posted online. All of them are giving it MASSIVE praise. All say that Ang Lee is a master, one even claims its as good as Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Everyone is blown away by the special effects. In fact look at the Pic of Hulk in the desert in on this review page.. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr/revie...tent_id=1911227 http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=15411 http://www.filmdeculte.com/film/film.php?id=517 I gotta tell you I think this flick is going to be Big.. I mean HUGE. Way bigger than i was expecting. People are going to see this one over and over.. My guess it ends up somewhere over 300 million US and 700+ million world wide. Scrivener Posted June 17, 2003 Report Posted June 17, 2003 Between the horrible 'Gumby' Superbowl trailer and the early cut that leaked onto the internet several months ago, Hulk was looking like it could very well be DOA. Now that the movie is actually finished (There was a local preview screening recently that a friend attended, albeit under the name 'Big Smash') I can honestly say that The Hulk has the stuff to bigger than X2 & Spider-Man combined. The newest Tivo trailer + preview reviews have made a believer out of me.

There is one little factor that could keep it from reaching HUGE status. Its the summertime competition, including especially, a little flick coming out in a couple of weeks staring some dude with the initials "AS".
Grizzle Posted June 19, 2003 Report Posted June 19, 2003 Bah Humbug. Not a big fan of movies of this type though I admit that the first Xmen was pretty cool. Spiderman...meh, I imagine I'll feel the same about Hulk.
