The ground weapons in BCMG are more or less standard fair nothing we haven't seen before (don't get me wrong it's not a complaint but an observation). What we need is uniqueness. Imagine a game that would let you research and actually build and create your own weapon just from an idea you hatched one day. Or just making these weapons on the fly without researching them. Wouldn't that be cool. Let me give you an example of what I mean: Imagine one day you are on a the surface of a planet with some nasty and aggresive locals and the fight is grueling. You depleted all your ammo what do you. Most cases you pick up rocks and start hurling them at the enemy. Not impressive at all. In fact, the only deaths that would occur from that is your enemy dying of laughter! Wouldn't it be nice to add some horse power to that rock throw. Well students check this out: http://spudtech.com/detail.asp?id=26 (they do have hand held versions of these kinda weapons but I'll let you do your own research for that) Now this is something that would make Mcguyver proud and Duke Nukem very happy. Imagine being able to make this weapon outa pipes and debris from that blasted land vehicle you just came across and being able to use anything as ammo. It would be a ground marines dream.... So many games with so many titles it's easy to mislead people. Wolferz Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Definitely a Tinker Toy kid LOL I have seen something similar at a Pumpkin Festival, in New Hampshire if memory serves, They have a pumpkin hurling contest every year with every sort of junkyard contraption that can be contrived, from huge air cannons to simple seige weapons.
