Yes...christmas is a time of giving. After buying prezzies for everyone else, ive decided its time for me to get a little something for myself. Too long have I lived in the world of just two speakers for my computer. Now I want input from other people so I can make my decision on what to get. SO FAR--ive got my eye on the logitech z-5300. Its got what I want and it isnt terribly expensive. Any suggestions? Also what sort of soundcard should I look into? The Audigy 2 just looks like it has more crap on it than I am going to use. So help me out guys!

Erm youve got youre eyes on the right system but the wrong price

www.amazon.com logitech z-680's there great and what ive got on all my computers at home (Three of them) also logitech tech support rules I once destroyed one of my systems (never unplug and plug speakers back in when there powered up... never knew why that warning label was there) but anyway after that idiocy they replaced them without any problems.

Also im happy with my turtle beach - riviera because it'll do optical pass through and the logitech z680's do optical in with dolby digital/dts decoding... so there great buys

z6500's for 279 it looks like amazons out of the 680's but im not really surprised they had a similar deal

however in the end amazon has the best deal on logitech products and as far as there speakers go there all very nicely done but since youve only got a stero system on youre computer it might take you a while to get used to having a subwoofer thats "right there" just something to be aware of
