Dog Helps Bust Owner on Marijuana Charge

GRAPEVINE, Texas - The owner of J.D. the Labrador may be wishing his dog weren't such a good retriever. Matthew Porter and two friends were playing Frisbee golf in a park Monday when a police officer who thought he smelled burning marijuana began questioning them.

As the officer was checking for outstanding warrants, J.D. waded into a nearby creek and emerged with a plastic bag containing the drug.

Porter, 25, was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia. Micah Hays, 24, was charged with marijuana possession. J.D. was turned over to the third person at the park, who faces no charges.

J.D. also faces no charges, but may have a new job opportunity.

"People have been asking if we're going to recruit the dog for police work," said Grapevine police Sgt. Todd Dearing.

this will be a funny one to watch in court. I'm wondering how they can prove who was in posession.

Kinda silly. So what that the dog emerged with the bag? Who's bag was it? For all the cops know, they were just out at the park, playing frisbee, like they said they did, and the dog fetched the bag because of the smell.

Law and Lawyers are most certainly a pair of self serving beasts. Their only intent is to collect wealth from those they goose step upon.

Then the lawyers run for public office and make even more rediculous laws for the sole purpose of feeding their younger peers and creating cushie bench retirement posts for themselves.

The laws of this land are too numerous. Who is really protected by these laws against ganja anyway?

[*]Petrochemical companies (Can't have the sheeple wearing durable clothing made with material that grows out of the ground in abbundance)

[*]Pharmaceutical companies-(Can't have sheeple self medicating themselves with all natural ingredients)

[*]All the members of Skull & Bones (who reap huge profits from trafficking the more hard core substances, as well as what they are making off a barrel of oil and their pseudo healthcare system)

Personally, I follow ten commandments that have served me well.

I don't need protection by intricate laws. I need protection from the laws and the ilk that dreams them up. Ten for Two is not my idea of justice.
