I'm leaving my office now so no link, but MSN news is reporting that a 28 year old South Korean man died of heart faiure after a 50 hour marathon gaming session at an internet cafe. Ther man identified only as Lee, recently quit his job so he could devote more time to gaming...if you gotta go...

This goes to show you just how addictive Video Games can be. Maybe we should start thinking of laws governing Video Game use and addition, possibly requiring computer manufacturers to have the computers automatically shut off after a certain number of hours of use.

Nah, I think we should just make the whole thing illegal outright. It's for your own good, you just don't know it yet, society and government does however, so take their word for it.

"Hillary and mothers of America united against gaming addiction of our kids"

Their foundation:

It's not the mans fault, it's the gaming companys fault for making their games too addictive. You see, the computer collaberated with the game to kill him. Just like when police arrive at the car accident, and find the car wrapped around a tree, with the guy that flew out of the car, 20 feet away and reecking of alcohol. It was all planned by the alcohol, that enticed the car, then both of them convinced the seat belt, and the three of them forced the tree. So the police report goes like this: alcohol forced the guy to get into the car, then the car and the alcohol convinced the seat belt not to buckle, and then three of them forced the tree to jump in front. BUT, no worries, the society and the government have a solution, they will outlaw alcohol, get rid of seatbelts, make cars illegal, and then the trees, the trees will only be allowed in controlled areas as not only do they cause accidents but spontaniously catch fire too.

Conclusion = the induvidual is NEVER to blame.

Soback I'd appreciate it if you guys didnt turn this into a polemic. Your post seems more appropriate on the political forums, which I avoid.

You don't see the funny in my post? LOL, yeah you are right, maybe it's too close to truth, cause it would be VERY funny if it wasn't the sad truth funny. Still funny however, tears rolling funny, some laughter tears, some sad tears, some mixed laughter and sad tears.

OH, and the 86 hour Lee guy, yeah he owned that 50 hour Lee guy. Now who is up next for the record breaker, bet you whoever it is, will be in China.
