Cruis.In Posted June 27, 2006 Author Report Posted June 27, 2006 ok this is why i stopped watching sports like nba, football, and to a lesser extent hockey... hockey isn't so bad. speaking about the referee decisions which decide the game. the bad decisions, the blatantly bad ones. like the disaster of australia VS italy... terrible terrible penalty awarded in the 93rd minute with 8 seconds or so of stoppage time left. an attacking player tripping over a defending player who was backing him and who had fallen to the ground.
Cruis.In Posted June 27, 2006 Author Report Posted June 27, 2006 and the terrible refereeing continues... brazil up barely one nil over ghana, score a second goal before half time in a clearly offside finish by Adriano. football needs replay rules like hockey and cricket... in doubt about a goal? go to the replay. so human error in refereeing doesn't ruin matches. i want to see earned wins, not wins because of bad decisions.
