  1. Yamamushi, I strongly advise that you not push the subject. Just some friendly advise
  2. I got bored so I'm just training skills while I do other things..
  3. Dem Leader declares "War is LOST" quote: Apr 19, 9:50 PM (ET) By ANNE FLAHERTY WASHINGTON (AP) - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday the war in Iraq is "lost," triggering an angry backlash by Republicans, who said the top Democrat had turned his back on the troops. The bleak assessment - the most pointed yet from Reid - came as the House voted 215-199 to uphold legislation ordering troops out of Iraq next year. Ya know... later in the article it asks what the troops will think when they hear that one of their own senators has gone rogue. I already know, it's been splashed on the Pentagon Channel and Military Channel now for some time with our troops demanding that Reid be impeached and removed from his position. A SENATOR. Who has NEVER been to Iraq, who ONLY looks at Media Reports... has the ARDASITY to say this crap?
  4. Sorry Darkling, but until our politicions realize that they SERVE the people and not themselves, this'll never happen.
  5. quote: the girls I just KNEW you where going to say that I'd love to go to Japan; it's one of my dreams in life. But I'm glad to hear you enjoyed yourself
  6. I'm trying... Still have to reinstall UC, UCAWA, AA, and VCO
  7. As Denny already knows, I had to get myself a new system. A couple weeks ago my old one finally kicked the bucket. It's processor died and for some strange reason that I can't explain, it also killed the motherboard. So I had to get myself a new system, of course hat new system was ordered BEFORE my old one died (My old one was updated out, meaning there was no room to update, the MOB was Cerca 2002 meaning it wasn't compatible with the new Intel Core 2 Dou) Anywho, new computer is out for delivery here since two AM IN THE MORNING!! So hopefully I'll be back in force, of course, whether UC will run or not is another story because when my MB/Procesor fried, it also killed the CD drives so I haven't had a chance to try out UC again since that day. Well I hope it still works, I had a lot going on in my save game (Fully upgraded Firestrom and enough money to last me several years) and I had the Gammy's on the run Now.. if only I can figure out WHY my processor died (Glares at Resnig)
  8. Yea.. I know about them all to well. In my opinion though if they continue to win those championships then CCP should bar them from competeing, let OTHER alliances have a shot at glory for once and stop being greedy. But hey, that's my opinion. I prefer to have fun in this game, I don't like treating it as a job. The fact BoB does mean's they are obsessed and addicted to the game, I'd hate to see what their wives are doing for all the male players (probably most are divorced, after all, a wife doesn't like it when her husband spends hours upon hours in damn game) Oh well... to each there own. The only way we'll be able to defeat BoB is if every major alliance in the game banded AGAINST BoB. But that'll never happen as most alliances cripple after only a few months.
  9. main reason I stay in .6 and above, I did have a few run in's with some people who wanted a taste of Pvp.... only to get Concord on their asses when they fired a shot across my bow (And because I was attacked, I sent my drones after them. Killed one frigate before Concord arrived and killed the other four ships) My mining barge was just far enough away to where their beam's where constantly missing.
  10. Nah the problem is that I've had a good number of people find it odd that I like to mine. I do it mainly for myself and for my corporation, after all: SOMEONE has to do it
  11. In Real Life I carry a concealed weapon Nomad quote:Sorry, but I'm a bit surprised. Are you saying that you are interested in looking at a rock during your whole game time Are you really this STUPID when it come's to Eve's economy? Minerals are needed to build stuff, and the rarer a mineral is the more money someone will pay to buy it. That's why I mine. Buy low, sell high. I also do a large amount of trading in this game, not to mention I build a good number of componants and also sell those to different corporations, the only time I do combat is when I do missions from agents. quote: I've the feeling you are looking for a kind of romanticism that is gone extinct since ages. Actually I'm looking for people who actually play this game for fun, that's perhaps a concept you don't understand though
  12. I'm trying different things... trying to see what suits me. Mining right now is all that I'm truly interested in as I don't have to worry to much about stupid cowardly player's looking for an easy kill...
  13. Still playing... Out on the outter rim with my new corp. Enjoying it, but still don't like the stupid Pvp aspect of the game... I stick mostly to covert ops and mining
  14. Ok Gentlemen here's the deal. The XO and I have made a decision to purge Prime Fleet of ALL inactive members. The only two who have reported to me that they've been busy was Commander Most and Commander Grayson, they are the only one's who's office's and bunk's won't be trashed and thrown out the air lock. So report in, or the next time you report for duty you may discover that you're longer apart of Prime Fleet. -Kal

  16. I can run the game smoothly until a lot of units come on board. But yes, the release date for SC is the 20th of this month - or to be exact - Tuesday.

I've beening avoiding the politic's as of late; got tired of rehectoric and the blame game.
  19. What still amaze's me is that NO ONE has bothered to talk to the soldiers who are THERE and ask for THEIR opinion and for THEIR recommendation. THEY are the one's fighting this war, not congress, not the house, it's the SOLDIERS and ONLY the soldiers... It further amaze's me that no one in congress or the house of represenatives has bothered to go on a fact finding tour in Iraq and Afgan. Their opinions are based solely on what they've seen in the media.
  20. You completley ignored Silk's 'real problem' Nomad The United Nations is partly responsible for many problems that have befallen the country as of late. They didn't bother to enforce sanctions, a lot of them where corrupt and paid off, hell I wouldn't be half surprised if some of those yahoo's financed the terrorists considering how corrupt they where...
  21. Why? Because Hollywood is corrupt. If the people who run the oscers are bribbed enough they'll put whatever movie they are asked to put on. The only movie that I beleive deserves to be in the Oscars is Letters from Iwojima. A hell of a lot better overall and VERY well done.
  22. I don't know anything about his father as I've never seen him, nor has my friend told me anything about him. (Plus he lives in another state right now so it's hard for me go get to him) But I can suggest it - the issue is that his mother is the one who ultimately has to do it and she doesn't seem to interested in helping him with his education...
  23. I've known him since I was in the ninth grade (and he was a grade school student at the time) He often talked with me about his problems and asked for advice, which I had no problems giving. And tenth grade is usually around fifteen or sixteen year's old.
