Ok people.. only Denny has registered on this TS server, I need everyone in prime fleet to get there wise rears ON the server and REGISTER. I didn't accept my friends offer for a server just so Commander DennyMala and I could have a chichat ok? I have yet to see Grayson or anyone else from my staff register on that channel. I'm always availible, if no admin is on (and you will know it because unregistered users are NOT allowed anywhere else but the default channel) then get on this site and PRIVATE MESSAGE me. I'm always home and always have my outlook open, there for I will be notified of a new message in the event I'm doing something that has my attention AWAY from the TS server. I'm availible from 9 am PST to 1 am PST, so there's NO EXCUSE for you to not be able to register on the channel (well... unless you've got college or something that is REALLY eating up your time) Also, until I can get everyone in here, it's going to be difficult to discuss improvements or other changes that I would like to make to the fleet. So get your butts there for pete's sake... do I have to call in the marine's? If you are UNABLE to get into the TS server then contact me ok?

Most MMO's DO suck Because the developers don't pay attention to there costumers and give what the COSTUMERS want (IE - the people who give you your paychecks) Saddly, I was really looking forward to this game and was going to get it for christmax for two of my friends, but now after reading 'that' review... umm... no... the last thing I want is for my two friends to come a knockin at my door with razor blades the size of a car.

Dune? Which? The first dune game wasn't very good and deserved to be a bargin game, but the last dune game to be made was excellent and well made. However,even so, if you are comparing the latest dune game (I can't remember the name anymore) to TA, you can't. Since both where created several years apart from each other, and both used different technologies. In reality, TA was a VERY good game and even I still play it. Here's a breif description for you: Depleted uranium is a heavy metal that is also slightly radioactive. Heavy metals (uranium, lead, tungsten, etc.) have chemical toxicity properties that, in high doses, can cause adverse health effects. Depleted uranium that remains outside the body can not harm you. A common misconception is that radiation is depleted uranium's primary hazard. This is not the case under most battlefield exposure scenarios. Depleted uranium is approximately 40 percent less radioactive than natural uranium. Depleted uranium emits alpha and beta particles, and gamma rays. Klingon Academy has 'something' like that but it wasn't that great, in fact, it was the only simulator game that had that. SOTS is not a simulator, it's a strategy game. You know, some of the features that I've read will make you wonder if this game will be specifically designed for high end cards. Debris falling off ships? That's something I've always wanted to see in a game (believe it or not) the closest game that has that damage model is Sword of the Stars, and even then it's very small. We can only hope that they have done a good job, I'm just glad I upgraded my video card this past week (old one was beginning to show it's age) As for reviews, meh, I trust the demo more because reviewers can be PAID OFF to make both good and BAD reviews. After all, we've seen what happened to UC and BC, how poor the reviews where in reality both games where just the OPPOSITE of what the reviews said. So don't trust the reviews, trust the demo!

Ok gentlemen. First off I want to apologize for any confusion that this might cause. Currently my own TS server is online and ready to go, however due to bandwith concerns (and Cox) a friend of mine told me I may use his server for our fleet stuff. There for the address is curse.cursix.net:8767 Do keep in mind, I ask that ONLY Prime Fleet memebers and Leaders from the other Galcom fleets register, along with ShoHashi. The server is always up and ready for use, you can find either on that server (late at night, like RIGHT NOW) or on my own server (early in the morning)

You know, Ebay shouldn't allow that type of selling, when a new item, like a console, is JUST released, it should RESTRICT sale of that item for at least a month. Good Day Gents.. While we do have an active TS server, I am not yet ready to give out it's IP address. As you know we don't have that many members, other than Denny and Myself, only a few others are active. This makes having a TS server partly useless right now. The server we do have will be used by the staff to address any issues that may crop up (all staff will have an account created upon request) Perhaps once we get more people into the fleet, then the server will become more widely open. I've got a second server on standby that allows for more people (my current one is only sixteen player, the other is sixty four player) This is but an update on whats going on here.

I plan on working on my own mod after I beat the game, got something in mind that I want to try Either way, while I love this game, I really don't like the AI... could REALLY use an improvement (your companions sometimes stand around for ten seconds before realizing that you are being attacked..)

Voli0 While I might just be misinterpreting your reply, I would kindly suggest that you not accuse our military of having soldiers who just join for the money, there are a lot more who join for college and to make the military a career for them. In case you clearly forgot there are other branches of the military that do not revolve around fighting. And Voli0, that first line text kind of kills your arguement: If you where uneducated, you wouldn't know what proud means, because you wouldn't know how to READ or WRITE, further more, being uneducated, you wouldn't know the first thing about right or wrong, so you wouldn't know weather killing someone was a good idea or not. Example: Just take a look at the bad area's of your town where you have children who are not in school yet have guns, those children are mostly uneducated and rarely know how to speak the language or how to write. Due to that they don't even know wheather there actions are good or not and being uneducated, they wouldn't know wheather they would be proud of themselves or disappointed or weather this was right or wrong.
