  1. Oh I know that, it's why I'll be busy for the next few days or weeks just creating and modifying templates.
  2. Here and active
  3. Umm... You've obviously never seen a very well designed, well constructed Wiki before then I'm an admin for one such wiki and a member of another; both are well constructed - which is why I made the choice to make my website a wiki and not a normal, typical, site.
  4. Yea, it'll take me a good while to get my site up in working order (man I hate creating templates and such)
  5. Thanks, though it is a bit hard considering I have only one other member to RP with and no one else (glares at other prime fleet members who've yet to report in and be active) I'm about ready ta do some bootin here in a few weeks.... [rp] Presto scanned the information relayed to him by the Ashdod. "Send this to the fleet lead," he told his communications officer. The girl nodded her head and sent the information up the chain. "Run continuous scans of the area, a stormcarrier means only one thing: A Gammulan fleet is somewhere nearby," he pondered aloud and brought the tactical display to bear on where this 'disabled' asteroid had been. He let the computer plot several different courses, but none of them gave him any options. "Rats...." he said and snapped his fingers in protest. He had to let it go for the time being; at least until the ship either decloaked or take them some hint of still being in the area - and he only hoped that hint wasn't a barrage across his bow. ---- Kalshion studied the tactical display; the various sensor probes that they had sent out were relaying a lot of useful information. Not to mention showcasing some raider on police action going on back in SOL. "Brave little bastards," he said with a laugh as one of the raiders suddenly disappeared from the display - followed by his companion vanishing seconds later. The four police cruisers then made their way back to their home station. As he changed the display to show another sector; his communications officer suddenly turned toward him. "Sir, we have a priority transmission from the Aretes," she said and piped the information to the tactical display. On the lower right hand corner sat the silhouette of a stormcarrier, on the lower left sat what had been assumed to be a 'disabled' asteroid. Then, toward the center of the display, were the various sensor data and tactical details of the report. "So, we have an uninvited guest in the area," Kalshion muttered under his breath. He pondered what to do next, he naturally couldn't leave this system - not with the intelligence that he had, but he couldn't just let it go either. "Comm. Send a message to Beta Wing, inform them of the stormcarriers last known position," he said. "I want one fourth of that wing to start searching the area. Leave the other half back at HQ," The officer didn't miss a beat as she typed in the orders. Though in the back of her mind she couldn't help but say That's close to a hundred ships, carriers, cruisers... and I don't even want to imagine the fighter count. Oh well, I guess if you want to find something small and hidden you have to use a lot of something else. At least that Earthcom vessel is rest-assured that they'll be well protected... provided it doesn't go after them first, she shook her head and continued sending the orders. "Also, relay a warning to our two squadron beta squadrons in Sol Earth about a possible Stormcarrier in the region," he said. His communications officer merely nodded her head. He stood there for a few and started thinking about something. He was tapping his lower chin when he came to one realization. "Bring primary weapons array online, load missile tubes one through ten. Bring the mine laying equipment online and load it up with mines. Deploy fighter crafts one and two. Point our ship toward the Zelana wormhole," he ordered his crew. The ship's bridge lights dimmed to a dull red, but no alarms sounded. He had foregone the alarms, as it was nothing but a distraction to his crew. Outside, the carrier briefly appeared in space as two fighter craft launched from her desks, and plotted a course for the Zelana wormhole. [/rp]
  6. Unless the story has a reason to have them (such as a marine action on a planet) I typically don't use time-stamps.
  7. [rp] "Certainly, Commander Presto. I'm Sergeant First Class Tracey Dodds, First Officer of this vessel. Our Commander, First Sergeant Richard Garrison, is currently away on other business. In his stead, I've been ordered to conduct a standard roaming patrol until ordered otherwise. In the process we've been conducting some trading runs to help supplement Vanguard Fleet's UFN budget. What can we do for you? Would you care to accompany us?" Presto listened to the response and looked over at his sensors officer who nodded her head. "I appreciate the response and apologize for the harshness of the request, we've had insurgent gun-runners recently in the area and have used false identification codes, including labeling a ship as being something it isn't. I have confirmed who you are, though I must also apologize that I can't accompany you. I am under orders to head to Sol." --- Kalshion watched the tactical display; it showed the Ashbob and the Aretes currently in another sector. He pondered what was being said amongst the two ships, his probe that he was using only permitted sensor data and not the ability to ease drop on private conversations. "Do we know where the Ashbob is headed?" he asked one of his officers. "Negative sir, but it's safe to assume based on their current heading that they are most likely headed to Procyon," his tactical officer said as she ran through the tactical display. "Hmm....." Kalshion rubbed his chin in thought. He tapped the display, changing it to show Actis V. The sector showed up to be relatively barren, save for a few of his patrols running between the gate and planet. "Comm. Send orders to Commander Presto, escort Ashbob while she remains with Procyon or Polaris. Inform Commander Johnsten of the Freten to continue heading to Jupiter, I want two cruisers to accompany him... send orders to the GCV - Ragote and GCV - Everen to meet up with the Freten in Lyrius." He continued to watch the tactical display. "Also, send orders to the GCV - Deten to escort the Ashbob as well." His communications officer blinked and nodded her head. "Aye aye sir," she said and started typing away at the keyboard, sending orders, verifying and checking on the locations of the required ships. Kalshion let out a sigh and turned his attention back to the tactical display of his current sector. It was still too quiet. "Tactical, send out probes please, I want to be informed ahead of time in the event we have hostiles," he ordered. --- Presto was about to silence the communiquÚ when his communications officer relayed the message from his commanding officer. "Actually Sergeant, I seem to have orders to escort you while you are in Polaris and Procyon," Presto said with a shrug of his shoulders. He then relayed an order to his helmsmen, who turned the Nightstar about and started heading toward the Ashbob. [/rp]
  8. Well that was one of the reasons why I've waited to get a wiki up for the past two years, I did have one set up a year ago - but the friend of mine who is in charge of it stopped work on it mid-way and never finished(he has access to the software and knows how to set everything up for me) So I had scrap the idea at the time, but now my other friend will be setting up this wiki. I'll transfer the files to Shingen and let him host them for the time being, as it will take me awhile to get the wiki information all set up - heck with all the details and such it would take me at least a few days.
  9. Dunno where Quazer is, I expecting him to reply back by now. Suffice it to say, I should have my wiki-site up in a few days (barring any problems that is, such as software being finicky) Of course, putting all this information into that wiki is going be a pita since I don't under CSS and such, though I could always create a type of namespace and such for use with just this information.
  10. If Quazer has no problems with this; then I'll transfer the files - at least until I can get my wiki situated (I just talked with my friend, dependin on what happens in the coming weeks, I may have a wiki up with pages devoted to this Appendix )
  11. Yea, I'll try and figure out where I can have them hosted from. (I think there's an old wiki that my friend and I no longer use, so I'll ask him if it's alright for me to utilize the space there, after all - we haven't exactly USED it for over two years) I'd love to use my own Wiki, but another friend of mine who helped set it up STILL hasn't transferred all the righs to me yet (being not only VERY lazy, but more concerned with his gaming )
  12. GVC - Aretes and Freten En-route to Sol. Jupitar Location: Polaris II Commander Presto let out a sigh of relief as his ship, along with his sister ship, cleared the jump-point. He was always nervous when his commanding officer decided to be alone in a system with very little backup. He had already wondered if Kalshion had a death-wish, but then again, he considered that if he was that rank he must be good at what he does. Despite that, Presto watched his officer. Most of them were new, fresh out of training, his ship served the purpose of 'weeding out cowards' as he ran it rather strictly. He paid close attention to the tactical map; tapping the arm of his chair with thought. "The Ashdod?" he pondered as the map tracked the ship. "What are they doing in this system I wonder?" "Shall we hail them sir?" Leutinent Johna, who manned Comms. asked. "This is commander Presto of the Aretes to Ashdod, please state your reasons for being in this sector."
  13. Whew.... I was about tell ya not to thank me. I went through and had to re-save the nav-map, stupid Yahoo decided that instead of saving the FILES of the page, it would save their own little Yahoo banner image =|
  14. I do now Thank ya for link I have all the images, including the javascripst, gifs and css stuff (I had to save it in a format that copied all of that pages information.)
  15. I was able to just this morning I've copied all of the following in terms of files, over ten megs worth of information here: Carriers Cruisers Transports Fighters Shuttles CASCrafts Ground Vehicles Air Defense 1 and 2 Navel Units Star Stations STar Bases Ground Structures Defense Structures (Well, its labled as 'defense_files') Missiles Missile Loudouts First Person Items Alien Nations Castes Crew Ranks and Medals Misc Units Misc Items Launch Bases Trade List Nav Chart Nav Links Upgrades Artifacts And Experience Points. I could not copy History because I was being told that the page was not found
  16. [rp] GCV - Bison Gon Flurie, Firestrom Class Supercarrier Command Deck Polaris 1 The lights dimmed within the bridge of the GCV - Bison Gon Flurie as it exited the jump-point into the Polaris 1 system, off to the sides were two Nightstar class carriers: The GVC - Arestes and the GVC - Fereten. Both Nightstars menuvered to cover the Firestrom. As the ship lingered in space, a squad of fighters launched from the main fighter bays to perform a CAP, or Combat Air Patrol. "Scan space, keep us close to the jump-point," ordered Kalshion as he examined the tactical map. "There are a few ships here, some traders and even a police heavy cruiser, tag and watch them," he added. His officers all gave a chorus of 'yes sirs' and jumped to the task. He recalled the warning he had gotten from intell related to increased insurgeant activity and had been told to keep an eye out for anything suspicious, of course, everything in space could be deemed suspicious. In seconds, the Firestrom turned into a ghostly blur against space before becoming completely invisible - the only signs that a ship was even there was a barely noticable wavyness against space. "Send orders to the GCV - Aretes and Fereten to make their way to Jupiter and hold position. I want them there in case any insurgents make a break," he said. "Sir, we'll be without our escorts," warned his XO. Kalshion tapped his chin. "I know, but the insurgents don't have much in the way of detecting a cloaked ship. That being said, everytime a new ship enters the system, cloak us and scan the vessel. If it's found to be friendly then decloak," he ordered. His XO saluted and relayed the new orders to the crew. Standing thier with his hands clasped behind his back, he watched the tactical map with curious intent.
  17. How could I have missed this thread? Oh.. right.. there was a reason but oh well *necro's* Welcome back Shingen! You still owe me the pleasure of killing ya
  18. Sorry to double-post, but I figured most had already seen my above post. Don't remove those files! For some odd reason after I turned the system on today all those files are now corrupted. I'm going to go back and re-save them under a different format.
  19. Everything there has been saved, I can't host them though so I'll have to hand them off to someone who can (at least I don't THINK I can, I'd have to double check)
  20. If you have the desire to join Prime, post in here and I'll give you my decision. Right now, not much is really going on, fleet is on stand by that is subject to change. You want to impress me? Be active on the boards, provide help to the newbies and to others... who knows? Maybe I'll promote ya, well ok, I ain't that desperate yet for officers but once things get into motion that will change. Either way, just don't bring Resnig with ya ok?
  21. I'm looking forward to seeing what ya have instore for us SC
  22. Well, lets hope he didn't into Shohashi's iron sights...
  23. Fault falls to me to be honest; I haven't given people good enough of a reason TO be active. Which is why I'm hopeful that'll change in the future at some time, I did get some correspondance from the others from time to time, but the rest.. not really. Even if a group is not active, and your a member, the least ya could do is report in so the leadership at least knows who is still active.
  24. I just wish the rest would sign in; I know Gordon is very busy with life and Most is military, which is why I excuse those two because they've given me an actual reason why they can't always report in or be active, but the others so far haven't given me squat...
  25. Lol, I'm afraid real life has had me busy for quite sometime, the only time I'm not all that busy were on the weekends but that has since changed.
