Resnig is overiding your orders, shove him out an airlock and you'll be good to go!! LOL

That was a joke, don't actually do that....

I don't have UC yet, I don't have a video card that will run it, but since tomorrow is my birthday, I will hopefully be getting a new one and be able to help you.

Until then, sorry...

I think it's about issuing orders to others marines or personnel when in FP mode..... but I can't follow the steps he described because I haven't UC and I didn't play BCMG in FP too much.... I was used to issue orders to a single marine at time from the TACOPS interface..... dunno if in UC there is any other way of doing that..... .... sorry not to be more specific....

Are you using the TOM (Team Orders Menu)? There's some info about it in the UC Manual Revisions.pdf file on the downloads page. Frankly, the last time I tried to walk on a moon, I forgot to put a spacesuit on and promptly died. I did get a nice glimpse of my Wildcat first, though.

yes i use the TOM but i can issue orders only to myself or to SC1!!! when i activate PLV my marines are dark green colored and when i activate TOM and select my marines with "," and "." i read in the TOM window "CANNOT ISSUE ORDERS TO MARINE 1"...this happen in career mode.

i try the last istant action scenario dedicated to MM marine on planet and in this case i can issue orders to all marines and so what the difference with career mode???

Maybe it can be a problem with the rank of the AE.....if it's too low he can't command the marines...?

Well concidering it sounds like marines from HIS CARRIER (or cruiser..) I doubt thats the case. I will try more planetside stuff between the horrible frame lag and low fps I get with my crappy Radeon... and let you know what I come up with!

The reason why you can issue orders to all marines in that last IA scenario is because you are given fleet C&C at the beginning.

No no. I was just explaining why you can command all marines in the last IA scenario.

I'm not sure why you can't command your own marines in your career mode. Sorry for the confusion.

LOL

I can't issue marines orders with the TOM either. I tried it with them in and out of an away team, but no joy.

I'm gonna re-read the manual on that and play around with it some more.. I must be doing something wrong

OK try this.

Go into tacops and tell each marine to escort you.Use the 'hold' button to freeze the AI if they are moving around or if there is other action going on.After that each marine will show up in the TOM and you can order them to attack a target or whatever you want.

thanks Cc...i will try it but i have another problem: how can i issue the order to the marines in the TACOPS to follow me if i don't found me in the list? this is a problem that i've encountered also in BCMG...how can i add my AE to the priority list? or where i found my AE in the priority list?

sorry about me, but i love this game and i try to play it in the best way...

thanks a lot

Hi jross. When your AE is outside any vehicle/craft/spacecraft, you can target him in TacOps, click on him and then select add to priority list. I think the P key does the same.

Hope this helps.

Who let Cougar out of his cage?

I was having similar difficulties, but I just tacked it up to my own ignorance (I'd never spent much time in ground ops with BCMG.) I did OK last night, and I found it's a lot easier if I hang out in the shuttle to give orders.

I also noticed when they didn't have specific orders or someone to follow that they would all split up and run around in random directions. Do they become more of a cohesive unit with higher AI?
