  1. well Insurgents, the latest news is grim. i for one will not buy it if the developer is getting nothing, and 2 because there will be no support for it. so that leads to 3, this game would need a great community to thrive, while we are a great community, i doubt anyone would want to rally behind an unsupported game. i hope that sometime there would be a game we could play large scale in the bc universe. we'll have to wait see what the future holds.

    IRON MAN

no i have not heard, but you know my sickness which has disabled my right ear might be suspect... boy do you have a long wait, i say, 3 years shortest.
  3. you only have to endure it if you watch it.
  4. i thought you fight for your country, and some die in the process. what does dying first do if you haven't fought? anyway good news...getting bored without anything.
  5. you could say something a little better than numbers don't mean jack. numbers can build things fast.
  6. yeah nice post. but I believe other countries in the middle east fit your criteria for the invasion of iraq... or most of it. I worry too much, I worry if America spreads itself thin, and they get ousted then who would be the world's police so to speak. last i checked your population didn't smack of big numbers, less than 400 million? what would happen if China and India decided to form an eastern coalition and take over the west? 2 billion people there heh.... never know, anti american sentiment is so high in places that the wrong man gets in power and he could start them down the road to war with a propaganda machine.
  7. well since you seem to think it was your job and your business to do all this in Iraq, why not any other countries facing the same problem? and please don't tell me about Iraq and Saddam...just answer the question why not all the other countries... don't stop in Iraq, don't say we did Iraq, someone else can do another country, utilize the same principles and ethics with which you invaded Iraq and invade...Cuba? Invade...Zimbabwe? oh but they don't have weapons of mass destruction...or do they? did Iraq? but what I say could never matter anyway, especially to you, your first thought would be what does someone from a small island no more than a dot on the map know...do island's have t.v's or internet, do they know what cable news is? do they know how powerful our navy is, do they know we could invade them and take them over and make them do our bidding? don't tell me you've never had those thoughts... that's the first thing spewed from American's mouth when someone from any "insignificant country" says anything... but I disgress, trying to solve the worlds problems, or what you pereive the world's problems are (or where they are) is a noble thing. And I admire that about the American culture, freedom...but like you trying to solve all the world's problems; is as futile as me trying to solve all the crime in my country, it can't be done...and in the end you have to accept it, if one were to agonize over the suffering of people in distant lands...africa, parts of asia, just to name a few, how could one EVER sleep again at night? who really could? so you know what? in order to live your own life and your day to day activities, these problems are forgotten or placed far at the back of the mind, and you have to put trust, reliance, hope and faith if you will, in the people living in those countries who DO HAVE the ability make a difference there, and change things, and these people have to know and realise they can't depend on anyone else for help, to get their goals accomplished...sure they welcome help, but they shouldn't have to first have it, to try. people have to help themselves and show a willingness to do so first at least, then they can be helped by others. people might wonder where all this came from? from me? I never touch these subjects, but I read your first post, and even though by tomorrow, or perhaps in the next hour the emotional response it provoked in me will be gone and the memory of it faded, I write this while I still have that feeling...and tomorrow I'll probably come back here and probably will feel a little stupid for having written it, because it's pointless, my feelings are pointless, bringing them to you is pointless...accomplishes nothing, except to serve me notice that they are still there and I that I have not turned into an emotional robot yet... this seemingly endless cycle of thought, led me for a long time down a lonely road...where because I was so angered, frustrated and saddened by my inability to help everyone, to know what everyone in the world was going through, to be able to do something about it, I almost gave up. Then someone helped me, and made me realise, while my help couldn't reach a grand scale, I could still reach a small portion in my own country and that other countries had other people like me, who thought like I did, and that would be enough for them, and that was enough me. every now and then that nagging feeling returns and I fight hard to keep it away. so I admire your country for what you are doing, but why Iraq and why stop there? My question goes to show that while you did what you did, to what end and to satisfy who's motives...because to believe the leaders did it just to help Iraqi people....really shame on who believes that....that your SOLDIERS believe that's the reason...yes and most of them are sincere in their efforts... peace

  14. hello Fox Trot, at the risk of assuming that you mean me...yes i used to once play subspace. now more commonly known as Continuum among everyone, new and old players alike. i started in 1997 and ended roughly around 2001-2002. after 1999 or 2000 i only would play it off and on if a cool zone came out or my interest rekindled. I played in zones such as DSB because old subspace became boring. I started in Alpha East...T20...hehe know what T20 is? played some warzone, then onto starwarzone, but mostly in Death Star Battle, where i was also an operator for about two years. also tried powerball and hockey, both quite fun. i still have it and have tried looking for a zone to have fun in, but none exist... I went by the handle 'A Spider' which i had from the beginning of my subspace time. a name which became somewhat well known around there... so I used to would be the short answer
  15. hey dreadx your in balor fleet, and on Sygan? cool man just great, now i wont be all alone on that big ol' space station...i can see it now, me leading our wing as we destroy Galcom HQ. thats good though real good! yay yay! zing! back to reality now!

  18. Silk, or anyone else who has this game, could you do me a favour...could you use your launcher and check and post what version of OPENGL you have on your PC...or what ever program you can use to check it. reason i want to know is the minimum required version is 1.4 i have 1.3.4063 or something, some inspiron 8200 users with radeon 9000 m are working the game nicely, and others are complaining of frames at 1 every 20 seconds. since ill be installing it tomorrow i want to have this laptop ready heh. i have the latest catalyst drivers from ATI released today, modded to work on a laptops mobile card. ( all us mobile users are doing it) so i should have the latest opengl version namely like 1.5 or at least above 1.4! at the risk of not knowing what i am talking about, since i dont know anything about opengl and their drivers, they're supposed to be updated through a normal driver release like this from ATI right? nothing separate i have to download from any where? like how you have to download directx...
  19. you should move to another country.

  21. Ill put an extra man on the guns for you Akira. he'll signal your return. in the meantime...oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree......!
  22. I didn't vote, but after debating with myself a while, i came to the conclusion that i would like a release now because i could live with the bugs i read on the RC1. However that being said, i also read that you strongly believe, as do i and most here that the game will do well anyway when released in the new and wont take too much of a hit not being released at christmas. with this in mind then i also say to wait... but next years release will definitely better your reputation all around (keep it intact)...so thats all that matters now. but we know that those who want to ***** will ***** anyway from here till neverland.
  23. right Jag......damn 7 months? why not early like the first one in 2002. I had it on my list since 2002 heh.
