Gentlemen: Where is this year going? It seems like we just had the muster yesterday! Before you know it, we'll be in 2014 and playing LoD. I want to thank all who responded to last month's muster. It's even nice to see some the old-timers (Gallion) pop in and acknowledge the muster. I am pretty proud to say that our fleet seems to have more people than the other fleets. We are not where we were years ago, but I look for that to change when LoD is released. As you all probably know, LoD Tactics is on the verge of being released. This game will hold you over until LoD is released. It's pretty simple, not complicated and comes on a variety of platforms such as mobile devices and Windows. Hi Mordax! Glad you are liking the game! Have you been watching my Let's Plays on YouTube under ShoHashi? I think I'm up to almost 40 episodes now. The best way to learn the game is by watching the Let's Plays. Under the Video Section of the Forum there are also some tutorial videos by Shephard and others. Unfortunately, you can't meet up in the game. It's not multiplayer in that sense. It's a singleplayer game. However, there are "stones" that appear at midnight that allow players to put items in for other players to pick up when they play. There is a coordinate system also, that if I give you a dungeon location, you can go there also and find chests that I have found (although the items within may be different). In a upcoming patch, Alex is adding Gryphons for fast travel. -Sho

I finally got around to seeing this and it wasn't as bad as I expected. It was entertainment. I grew up over the years with Star Trek, Next Generation, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise and all the movies in between. This new Star Trek is a radical change from the old mythos. I will still always consider the older series the true mythos and this new franchise just another sci-fi movie. I don't know what they just can't leave things alone. -Sho

Gentlemen: It seems like we just had this muster yesterday. This year has been moving by extremely fast, which means LoD is coming soon. How soon? I don't have the slightest, but I'm sure when the time becomes eminent, the SC will inform us. I'm sure he's taking his time putting a fine coat of polish on the game and that works for me at least. I also want to take the time to thank Gallion, another old salt, for coming back to the fold and checking in with the musters. It's appreciated, Gallion, especially since our Fleet is low on members for the time being. I'm hoping that all this changes with the debut of LoD. I downloaded the demo earlier this evening and gave it a try. It's not too bad. It brings back a lot of memories from the Wing Commander days. I certainly hope they find a way to complete the game if they don't get the funding they need. -Sho
