  1. Attention all! There is another Steam GalCom event scheduled for Sunday, November 29, 2009 at 3:00PM EST. We'll be meeting in the GameLobby at that time before heading onto a server. If you have any questions, please let RT or myself know. Hope to see you there! -Sho
  2. [RP ON] Admiral ShoHashi was counting his blessings as the Daedalus began to tractor beam the shuttle into an empty shuttlebay. He looked back into the rear compartment of the shuttle and saw that everyone back there seemed to be okay and were starting to stand up, brushing their uniforms off with their hands. As the soon as the shuttle came to a stop in the shuttlebay, Rick touched a button on the console and the hatch slid open to reveal Commander canshow standing there. canshow directed his medics into the shuttle and they began to ask if anyone needed attention. Badman, Shingen and the others told the medics they were okay. Rick and ShoHashi made their way to the open hatch, helping the others through the hatch. ShoHashi made his way to canshow. "Thanks for the assist, Commander," said ShoHashi. "I was just doing my job, Admiral," replied canshow. ShoHashi turned to Rick and said, "What's the plan now, Rick? Seems things aren't going very smoothly." [RP OFF]

Ok, what did you all think of the pilot? I'm not sure about it yet. I guess I'll stay tuned for a while. -Sho
  5. Indeed, Quazar. canshow, please check your PMs for guidance. -Sho

  7. It's okay, Shingen! If you want to continue using them, then by all means do so! -Sho
  8. I'm sorry guys. As of late I've been extremely busy. I will, however, get something posted this weekend for sure. As for the timestamps, I'm not a big fan of them for the same reason as Quazar. After a while it seems like you are trying to fill every minute with something and the story just seems to drag on. But.....that's just my opinion. I could go either way. -Sho
  9. I got it when it first came out. Played it from the beginning cell all the way up to spacefaring civilization. It sort of got old and repetitious after a while so I shelved it. It just seems like it was missing something to keep you interested. -Sho
  10. I don't know yet. It seems to be getting a little bit better, I'll prolly keep on watching it just for entertainment sake. -Sho
  11. Thanks for stepping up to the plate on this Kalshion. When you get the files to where you want them, let me know the link so I can edit the intial posts. -Sho

  15. [RP ON] Admiral ShoHashi's Office, 13:47 Garrison turned back to ShoHashi, "Admiral, I ask for a full pardon for anything Commander Shingen is alleged to have done to the Insurgents. My organization is prepared to pay some restitution but we are somewhat limited. I ask that he and his ship be free to go immediately." ShoHashi thought about it a moment and said, "My apologies, but it was never my intent to arrest Commander Shingen, therefore he is free to go. To my knowledge he hasn't committed any crimes against us." Admiral ShoHashi then turned to look at Shingen and stated, "As an act of good faith, I would like to continue having my people repair your ship. Without the needed repairs, you're kind of stuck here." ShoHashi picked up the PAD that Garrison has laid on the table, looked at it briefly and then sat it back down. "Thank you for the designs, Mr. Garrison. I'll be sure to have my R&D people in Eversor go over them in detail." Garrison made a note on his pad and continued, "Here's my plan: If you agree to help us Shingen, and since you need a crew, I suggest we take the Deathstrike to Sol. Sho, Badman and I can be your crew for a little while. Admiral you can bring ICV Aries if you want but I think Daedalus' presence will draw plenty of attention by itself." Rick paused there, knowing the other three needed time to respond to this much before he could continue. "I agree with you Garrison. We'll take the Daedalus," replied ShoHashi. "Anyways, the Aries is going through a level 1 systems diagnostic for the next few weeks." "Gentlemen, if we could discuss the rest of this on the way?" Garrison said as he headed for the door. 16. [RP ON] Admiral ShoHashi's Office, 13:43 ShoHashi leaned back in his chair and listened intently to what Garrison was saying. "I apologize, I'll try to move this along. The United Free Nations, which is the Terran government, took a Congressional vote - and then a general population vote - and decided to go it alone and assist the Zelons without Galcom's blessing or help. We, Earth Command, have reason to believe that Galcom is acually helping the Credians in order to avoid getting on their bad side. Part of the basis for this claim of mine may lie in the bowels of GalacomHQ itself. Vanguard Fleet has ordered me to assemble a team of diverse individuals from across the galaxy to infiltrate GHQ and find out. And I think we may need canshow's help too." ShoHashi leaned forward on his desk and looked directly at Garrison. "Ok, I'll bite," ShoHashi said. "What do you plan and what assurances do I have that this is not a trick?" [RP OFF]

  20. [RP ON] "He what?" said Commander Crossgrove irately. "Commander canshow took the three individuals from my custody and is escorting them directly to the Admiral," repeated Lieutenant Commander Williams. "Thank you for the update, Williams," said Crossgrove as he turned off the vidscreen. Crossgrove was angry. One thing he disapproved of was junior officers involving themselves into issues they had no business being into. And most of all, he strongly disapproved of junior officers disobeying orders. The Insurgents had a chain of command to follow and he expected all officers to follow it. He made a mental note to meet with canshow and discipline him for this incident. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Admiral ShoHashi sat in one of his office's comfortable recliners reading an early 20th century book. He was fond of these old antique books and to him it was much more satisfying to read from a book the old fashioned way instead of via monitor. He was deeply engrossed in the book when his vidscreen beeped. He put the book down and looked up at the screen. "Vidscreen on," he said and the screen turned on to show the face of Commander Crossgrove. "Sorry to interrupt you sir, but the representative your were expecting is here. He claims his name is Garrison of Vanguard Fleet," said Crossgrove. ShoHashi placed the book on the nearby table and rose from the recliner. "Send him up. Let's hear what he has to say," said ShoHashi. "He should be there in a few minutes," Crossgrove said. "One other thing. He is not alone. There are two other individuals with him. They've all been screened." "That's fine," replied ShoHashi. "Vidscreen off." ShoHashi strode over behind his desk and sat down. "Garrison," thought ShoHashi. He was sure he had heard of that name somewhere. [RP OFF]
  21. We Insurgents do that on occasion; we try to give Resnig practice, knowing damn well that he'll miss! -Sho
  22. [RP ON] Minutes after Commander Crossgrove finished his conversation with Admiral ShoHashi, his vidscreen again beeped with an incoming call. Crossgrove tapped a button on the screen and face of Lieutenant Commander Williams appeared. "What have you got?" asked Crossgrove. Williams went on to explain Ensign Haney's status with the seemingly lone survivor of the Deathstrike. He also went on to explain about the two other individuals that Haney and his men picked up on their way to Sick Bay. "Ensign Haney is telling me that one of the two individuals wishes to converse with the Admiral directly. He won't identify himself either." "Could this be the representative that the Admiral mentioned?" thought Crossgrove. "Ok, have Haney continue taking the Deathstrike's survivor to Sick Bay to get him patched up. While that's being done, have Haney send three of his men to escort this individual up to see the Admiral. I'll let him know he has a visitor coming," said Crossgrove. "Affirmative," replied Williams. [RP OFF]
  23. Happy Birthday, Eclipse! Don't think you're gonna sneak this one by! -Sho
  24. That's because we Insurgents like to be organized and neat! -Sho

Yeah, I remember watching that back in the 80s myself. Back then it was ok, but watching nowadays on Veoh, it's a little corny. -Sho
