Well, to each his own, I guess. My good ol' 9600 plays everything I need it to with no problems! However, this is not to say I won't upgrade in the future! -Sho

I know that the last few times, AAW MP sessions were short-notice. After some thought, I decided that maybe we should try monthly sessions at a set date and time to see where that takes us. The Galactic Command group on Steam will be hosting monthly AAW MP sessons the first Sunday of every month at 11:00AM EST, beginning Sunday, July 4, 2010. The reasons are two-fold. Firstly, it will hopefully provide enough advance time for interested parties to make plans to join. Secondly, it will be at a time that will allow our European friends to join. -Sho

I'm budget-minded and my videocard is a Nvidia GeForce 9600GT w/512 megs DDR3 memory and runs all of my games with no problems. IIRC, I picked it up at Best Buy last year for a little over a $100. It's a PCI-E. It's also DirectX 11 capable. Just my two cents. -Sho

Nwah is correct. Holding the grenade button down initiates a ticking sound that indicates you have pulled the pin. The longer you hold the key, the further the grenade will be thrown. Releasing the key throws the grenade. Be careful though, if you hold the grenade too long while it's ticking, it'll blow up in you hands. This is all covered in the manual. -Sho

What's that supposed to mean, canshow? Have you defected, are you a Prime Fleet spy, etc? Why would Prime Fleet force you to do anything? -Sho

Gentlemen: A couple of things I'd like to address at this month's muster. Firstly, if you are going to be away for a month or more, please have the courtesy to let your Fleet Leader know via PM. I'd hate to have anyone marked as AWOL. Secondly, I want to reiterate Eclipse's post in the other thread about the URL change for the Insurgent Central Command. Now you guys got me wanting to finish my game of DA:O! Been on a little hiatus from it for several months. -Sho

I like it so far too with the exception of the second episode. It was the one with the civilians against the military. Very similar to what happened on Battlestar Galactica so it really wasn't something new. -Sho

I tried the demo for a while. While the gameplay itself isn't too bad, I didn't care for the intros and voice acting. The only problem I had so far was after I completed construction of a tank factory on a planet, my screen went black although I could still hear the game running though my speakers. I'll have to look into that and see what's going on. -Sho

Before this thread derails, I'll say one thing: We better get him before GalCom does! -Sho
