Well, I read the FAQ, and it did help bunches. Sort of. I found out that my PCI sound card was not supported. Oh well. SO much for hearing my warning klaxons go off as a crash into Spectre.

Pretty basic problem, but I don't know where else I should go with this. When I install BC, it prompts me for a sound card. My sound card is not included on the list. I tried using AutoSetup, and "faking it" by using the sorta-generic Soundblaster and Roland drivers, but to no avail. System Stats: Windows 98 Intel Celeron 400 32 meg RAM Sound Card Maker: Crystal Semiconductors Sound Card Type: Crystal SoundFusion, using latest drivers BC version 2.09, patched from v2.00, using MapPack How can I get BC to use my soundcard?

Perhaps our dear SC has bened a little under all this stress, what with a new product release and all?

Hello, all. A just got word today that a person with the callsign of Ranger wanted to fly for us. I hope I wasn't over stepping my bounds when I said yes, Tac. I'm green with the whole command structure thing, so don't hesitate to tell me when I'm out of line. Also, Fighter Command contains shuttles as well as combat craft. In the comming months on of my goals is to establish a quick line of supply for a small number of items, like an emergency core or a quick stash of missiles. This would be a superb resource for a Logistics commander to draw on. And just in case your fancy Cruisers catch a little to much flack, you can call a suttle to haul your smoking hull back home . On training: Ranger said he completed the Xtreme Carnage levels. While not a master test at skills, it still is noteworthy.
