ahh you mean the different colors for the marines as seens in the /models/textures/ section? (e.g. marine_eforce_a.bmp) That simply about renaming/copying. If I understand want you want to do, backup the old texture (namely marine_eforce_a.bmp and marine_infantry_a.bmp), make a copy of the color you want (blue is the letter _ and rename it (them) to the old name. marine_eforce_a.bmp == rename >> marine_eforce_a.bmp.bak marine_eforce_b.bmp == copy >> Copy of marine_eforce_b.bmp Copy of marine_eforce_b.bmp == rename >> marine_eforce_a.bmp Should be clear enough

I can't really know how 56k'ers feel, because the internet service I had sucked badly, and I had a p150 32mb ram at best.... then I got broadband... god I loved that

ROFL! I like to click on the words and search for more idiocies. Some stuff I found. "The rings of Saturn are composed entirely of lost airline baggage. " "The Vikings invented cardboard milk carton as to open it was a test of bravery, skill and brute strength" "One should never allow computer mice too close to one another, as they have a tendency to breed; this is of course how mouse balls get so dirty. " "The number of British politicians in one place at one time must be a prime number to keep in line with an obscure 12th century law. Hence the invention of the Prime Minister. " "A very rare limited edition set of 1987 Topps Baseball Cards featured one extra card, that of God. God's baseball card gave His date of birth as "I am eternal," his height as "I am infinite" and his position as "third base". According to his year-by-year statistics, God's best season came in 1841, when he hit .874 with 127,000 home runs and over a million runs batted in. His worst season came in 1966, when he hit just .208, but that can be partially explained by the fact that he sat out several months with a strained Achilles tendon. One bonus feature of this special card is that anyone who looks at the front picture immediately bursts into flames. " [ 06-03-2002, 15:51: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]

On one side I have to wonder what kind of computer you could get for 500 Canadian dollars, on the other it seams like a lot to be handing out en mass. Well it's not enough to buy a whole computer, but it helped alot to buy something basic. In march of last year (2001), I used it to buy a K6-2 500 with 64mb ram and a 5 gig drive. enough to go on the internet.1 I upgraded it a little though, since I got it (mostly about 3 times as much ram) quote:I would rather have 500 rupees then 500 Canadian, at least rupees would be novel.I don't know what you mean by "novel", but you should know that (indian) rupees are worth 32 times less than a canadian dollars. Tell me. Do you hate Canada? You're giving me more and more this impression to me.

We need to provide those too?Actually, that was in the plan, they government paid 500cnd off a new computer, which I used to pay for one of my computers. quote:The schools are all wired -- why am I still paying the tax?Umm umm. Dunno how it works elsewhere, but at the high school I was going, the school's ~100 computers were connected by a satellite uplink to the main school board hub (which connects all the schools in the said school board), which is connected to the main backbone T3 by a (I think) a quad T1. Now estimate the yearly costs of this. And in 3 years I've been in that school, my average downloads were 35ks, peaks of about 75ks at times. Sucky, compared to what I get at home currently. Well here connecting the whole province / country (can't remmeber what level it came from) was part of the objective, so they did. Also, they connected practically all schools in the governed area, including elementary.

I'm running under subsidised internet access, no joke. Whe the governmental program came to light, people disagreed with the stupid spendings at over 800M cnd, but then again, little could be done to stop that... so we got our id number and got about 40% (or 15$ whichever comes first) discount on our internet for 2 years, ending at march 2002. This is how we got broadband, as I was stuck before on a unstable free add-supported internet using a external 14.4 modem. Ouch. So instead of paying around 45cnd inc. tax a month, we're paying around 30cnd. Nice.

There is no such thing as ICQ inc (I checked the trademark office website); the company is called Mirabilis inc... And since I got Trillian, I stopped receiving any kind of ads and PornIM
