Ok I know bc3k isn't supported anymore... but I couldn't find a way to fix my problem. I have an asus gf2 mx-400 64mb drivers 21.83 whql on a tbird 950mhz and with 256mb of ram. When I start the game using bc3k.bat (or double-clicking bc3000ad.exe), it always detects a VESA 0kb vidcard, and then crashes, probably for that reason. I read the faq and I couldn't find my problem. I'm not using any video tweaking utility and didn't changed. I'm patched to 2.09 (I have the 2.0 retail cd)

I prefer having a custom built system... mounting it myself... If something doesn't work I know it's my fault. If it works perfectly, that my "fault" My new system has worked perfectly since the 2 weeks I had it. And my cpu (tbird 950) doesn't heat up... after a lot of gaming, I reboot my computer (I don't have a mobo hardware monitoring software) and cpu is never at more than 50c, my mobo at 45c, while my vidcard is generally between 55c and 62c.

Well I have a gf2 mx400 and so far the bcm demos go at 60fps in 1280x960x32 all details max... I have nothing against my brand new vidcard. I would have took a gts but it was about 100cnd more...

I just hope I can come in a bar with a large assault weapon (preferably a chain gun-type gun) and do a spreadfire on all the people Just for fun

Oban... I can't really say about your commitment, as I don't know how often you could play... but if you are interested, Orion has divided it's BG commanders depending on their timezones so more people can be online and kicking ass together. Currently, the Sark Battlegroup covers the east coast, and even if orion if the biggest fleet, we are in dire need of commanders, since our ships are spreaded to many, many sectors. The SBG itself has the 3 sectors of Tau Ceti to protect with the help of the ISS Destrier battle group. Of course, we also need marines and fighter pilots, if you are not heading for the commander career.

Click on your craft icon in the bottom right corner, just over the CVD screen, and go in systems/commlink. Voilà!

Some stupid stuff I already did : - Pull the cd-rom out of the computer, but without unplugging the audio cord (ALMOST broke it) - Install a 5 1/4 drive UPSIDE-DOWN - Pull the HD cable to remove it from the hd itself, not the plug. - Try to plug a extended isa vidcard in a non-extended isa slot (older computer) (err...) - Put the computer on the edge on the kitchen table - Tried to remove memory without releasing the "locks". Same for mb power input. - Forgot my CMOS computer booting pwd (when I was using one) (found it later) - Put the speaker-out of my sound-system in the line-in of my sound card (at high volume) (toasted the sound card)

Read the last page... the gams are in lanix-v, and I prepare to fight... but then you say no, I'm not even in the gam command vessel yet....
