  1. quote:Originally posted by Gallion: Hint: TacOps and waypoints TTFN ahh jumping at waypoints in space now works? GOOOOD !!! 'cause in bc3k it didn't : set A/P on and the ship fly in normal mode to the area. Good thing when you want to get out of the normal space lanes.
  2. Ahh really? But as I remember I pressed ctrl-f in the demos and it showed the fps... strange.
  3. quote:jump over a 20 story bilding and lay down fire equivilent of a battalion of normal troops!! 1) How do you reduce the effect of the fall (the hit)? Because you are hidden in a 6 inches battle armor doesn't mean you won't feel the effects of a fall. 2)Where do you keep your ammo? I think NASA should continue develloping their plasma cannons I've heard that they did such stuff that has large firepower (about a small rocket laucher) but weight about 300 pounds and breaks easily. Mechs would only do good if they stay small, no more than 10 feet high.
  4. quote:You guys have problems with your masculinity and therefore are a little frightened of us perhaps? [rp] Why, because you people are hermaphro-something? [/rp]
  5. w00t! (haven't said that in a long while )
  6. quote:jeez, you guys are a stiff bunch.. jk I didn't hear you say sir! 30 push-ups for you, NOW! FASTER! I thought we were training recruits today! My DEAD grand-mother is faster than that! You spent too much time watching teletubbies don't you? [ 11-08-2001: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]
  7. If you want to know what framerate you have, hit ctrl-f while playing.
  8. Thorazine? What's that??
  9. What does "Destrier" mean?
  10. It's in the game, but wasn't enabled in the demos (altitude in tacops planetary waypointing)
  11. quote:Originally posted by Soback: There's one big plus going for mechs. If you destroy it, then the nuclear reactor powering it will blow spreading radioactive stuff over enemy territory. So not only does it kill the enemy when it works, it continues killing after it's destroyed. BAAADDD thing. We want to kill the enemy, not everyone. Radiation doesn't instanously kills (after the blast I mean) Mechs wouldn't be good. They would sink in the ground. A thing that big would weight about 50-70 tons and each hit of a footh on the ground would create about 150-200 tons of pression. Mech aren't made to be powerful, they are made to be cool looking. Anyone remember MW2:GBL Stone Rhino? THAT's a cool mech. I think a very large, long and heavily armored APC-looking tank with multiple artillery and cannons would do great. However, I think what we need to win is those human-guided missiles they did. Nothing better than that. Pinpoint accuracy. [ 11-08-2001: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]
  12. quote:Originally posted by LordDavid: Two possible solutions. 1. A wireless OPTICAL mouse. You can use it on any surface even the couch itself. Logitech has some of these. 2. Trackball mouse (except for these get my thumb sore after a lot of use) Next : flying mouse.. or a mouse that doesn't even need to be close to anything to work.

  14. Yep, I've been thinking about that too. I'll probably take a Sunflash because I like to be quick, maneuvrable and being able to shoot anyone at anytime
  15. quote:Why I tried to upgrade from a rock stable OS, I'll never understand That's why I'm in win98SE. Generally have no problem, a few BSOD from time to time. I switched from win95 osr2 to win98SE because I needed the ICS for my network (which will be restored REAL soon ), and win95 didn't had that.
  16. quote:Console gamers typically don't throw their old consoles out. There isn't any reason to. It would be a waste of money to just toss them to the wind. Alright then how do you do that : - ONE tv - a Sega Master system - a Nitendo 8-bit - a Sega Genesis - a Super Nintendo - a Sega Saturn - a Playstation - a N64 - a Sega Dreamcast - a Playstation 2 and more coming in... So how do you plug everything together? And where do you put everything, including the hundreds of cassettes and CD's? [ 11-07-2001: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]
