  1. quote:Thes guys are like the dominion or the the klingons, love to fight and love to conquer. Hmm I think the Klingons were LESS advanced than the Federation, but that they had good ships. and good warriors The Gammulans are simply superior in all tech areas (I think) but most particularily in warfare.
  2. HOLY COW! Finally, paint shop pro 6 was able to open... incredible... there's still smoke emanating from the pile. Took me 9 min 30 sec to download it... was slooww....
  3. Search for *.eml and *.nws files evrywhere on your disk. I had a that : Nimbda. In 5 mins it ate 250 megs putting 500k files everywhere with various names.
  4. 1) Battlecruiser Millenium 2) Earth force command 3) Galactic command online
  5. quote:It depends on the crew member you lost He said ALL the crew member, as if you can still kick-ass alone in your ship.
  6. SC I think you should tell EB the "official" shipping date
  7. quote:Also, do the autogen ships actually launch from their bases and travel to their destinations, rather than simply appearing there as they did in BC3K? I know that this was done to save processing power in BC3K, and I'd like to know if this is still the case, since we've got more processing power now. Well in MP it would stupid to see an enemy vessel appear in Earth considering the defense grids all the fleets are building
  8. I've seen a Falkerie military StormCarrier in the first demo AWESOME! Got near it with my warmonger... simply impressive
  9. I already played Starknights before and got bored quite fast.
  10. Trying to get himself some more hits Is your pluging good for R4? That's what I have.
  11. Hmm is that true? If not, it almost seem true.
  12. Hmm SC was today or the other tomorrow?
  13. I would have asked for it, but I think the gf2 mx400 I'll (hopefully) buy is better... even though I'm in dire need of money. Wasn't the v5500 having problems in BCM?
  14. I'll add my voice to support Nick Menchise. ==> I have some info here. On AW there is often a detractor there that names himself "Supreme Cmdr", he's a tourist. One day I was able to track is ip. Here's what I got: cfw2.sanjs1.ca.excitehome.net.au 203.164.2.198 I planted a IP tracer in the cmdr village (and you can clearly see it), and i *could* try to scan everyone at a moment Nick Menchise AND "Supreme Cmdr" are there. The only thing is, one of my friend is the tracer's host, and he haven't done his internet-based tracer yet, so I have to ask him each time, and most of the time I can't contact him. 15. BOOOOOOOORING...
  16. ACK! the SMS ad is back! nooooo! Why?
  17. hmm send me an email $iLk
  18. Hmm SC can ask a couple of questions about the S.Commander thing? 1 - If you produce an item, could you sell it at a ridiculous price? (vagrants for 99 galcreds!) 2 - Do you have control on the station's assets as much as you have control over fighters and shuttles in a carrier? 3 - Can you refuse docking clearance requests? 4 - Can you have intruders? 5 - Can you expell a docked vessel? 6 - What are the crewmembers count? I mean, how many engineers to repair the station, marines to defend it (if you can be boarded of course) 7 - Do PC vessels that launch from your station (ex : all Orion fleet ships launch from the Orion station) are considered as your assets? 8 - Can you upgrade the main systems? 9 - If yes, can you use the different artifacts? 10 - Does a station "eats" what it is given (not considering what people buy) 11 - Can a station give money to others, or work like a bank (for a corp or fleet)? 12 - Can you deploy mining drones? Send probes? 13 - Who gets to control a station if an enemy force capture it? 14 - Can you self-destruct? 15 - Can you transport marines on other ships or somewhere on the ground? 16 - Are you responsible for repairs on capital ships assets? Can you upgrade them? Hmm I have other ideas, but those are the firsts that come to my mind. [ 10-08-2001: Message edited by: Epsilon 5 ]
  19. I was searching the EB website and I found a EB store near where I live. (ahh the link doesn't work, removed) This WAS a picture of where it is, it WAS the number 1. However, using my means of transporation (bicycle), it's quite far (It's 15km from my home, probably 20 with the real travel (something like a 30-45 mins ride).... and i don't know how it will cost me... 20. quote:Then it means that after a while, the gate with be far far away from the planet? You're just as bad as he is. Whats the planet orbiting the Sun, got to do with the jump gate? They are DIFFERENT bodies. One has an orbital plane (like a station) and the other doesn't. What'd I miss? oops, I hit the edit post button instead of the reply-with-quote. Sorry. 21. Soback : quote: I am disapointed and a little confused by the posts of some of the vets here. I see posts saying that some of you will only be able to get their copy of the game on a second run. That would be understandable for a newbie that was kinda caught off guard by when the game will be released and didn't have time to pre-order for the first production run, but for a veteran who knew about the game way back when and had almoust 6 months or more to pre-order that's just wrong. Yes, some of us don't have money, but how long does it take to save up $50 especially when you have a year time? I myself am a student, have bills and no money whatsoever and still managed to pre-order a copy because I know how great the game will be and now I see some posts basically saying that look, we had plenty of time but it slipped. What's going on here? *ahem* September 2000 : I get bc3k, plays it and have fun End of October 2000 : I start visiting 3000ad.com, and find the forum. Don't read often because at first i don't see the interest. November 2000 : I register, now that I was coming more often and wanted to reply to some stuff. December 2000 : The time I "really" learn about BCM. Growing interest for thr new thing February 2001 : I buy myself a new computer (k6-2 500 64mb onboard vid) using a governmental plan... extremely cheap (the cheapest I could find), but better than my p150 32mb 1mb cirrus logic vid. Want to join the beta test. Comp. specs aren't good enough. End of March 2001 : After a not so long decision time, I join the Orion fleet, just before the academy is created. April 2001 : The first estimates of the release date are given. I want the game. I need a better computer. Start accumulating money. I'm still in school. June 2001 : The game is still not out, and I don't have 100cnd gathered yet... I start working by babysitting my sister all summer. Doesn't pay much but it's my first job, and an easy one. October 2001 : I don't have all the necessary money yet, still babysitting, and getting impatient... Hope to get all my money this month and buy the computer. Then I will accumulate money for the game. November 2001 (future) I'll probably have the game that month.
  22. Note : the new "bcte" is named BTC, for Battlecruiser Tactical Command
  23. As he said before, the plugin to create .3d files (that bcm uses) is only available for 3ds max.
  24. Happy birthday!
  25. quote:Originally posted by $iLk: Epsilon, I have all the setups... if you can link me to where the patch is I would appreciate it. Thanks ICQ me (86811631) and I'll send it thru ICQ
