  1. ROFL oh NO, this is too funny, sorry man, but "Blizzard were kind enough to disable an important feature: Account Creation." LOL, they are trying to spice up the game, you know, get you all worked up for when they create a patch for it...Kinda like at the race track, when those dogs chase the rabbit...LOL, see how good this game is now, see the cutscene and all, now just imagine just how much better it will be when they enable the account creation...ROFL. That's gotta go in the books somewhere, it's just too funny not to write down for all time...
  2. Soooo....where can I get one. ROFL...
  3. Yeah, that's bull, I think a lawsuit is brewing. That's descrimination towards smokers...So, higher medical costs because of smoking? How about higher medical costs because of obesity, high cholesterol, blood pressure, alcoholism (on the weekends ) Hmmm...sounds like they just singled out smokers and that's that... And on top of that, what completly pisses me off is that it's NONE of their damn business, ZERO, what I do when off work, and if what I do off work is not impacting my performance when I'm on. On the other hand, I bet you obesity does impact performance ON work, for some jobs, oh I can't wait till those guys sue that company for ALL they are worth...
  4. Yeah, TSA is a fricking joke of an organization. It's just like the hearings back in the days. They have imposed SO many ludicrous idiotic rules on pilots and flight instructors that it makes it almost impossible to teach new pilots anymore. The registration process is almost the same as for the commercial drivers licence, with fingerprinting, all the paperwork hustle, and the damned fees (everywhere). Then even more paperwork for the student pilot, with more fees and more ^%$#$#, then the waiting period till they "approved" (actually says, "check clears", you can see what "approved" really means). Then a flight instructor has to snap a picture of the student and send it TSA so that they can link the file they have on the student to the file they have on the instructor. It does absolutly nothing, zero, zilch, nada, because all the flight instructors are either US citizens, or the ones that are not, had to be checked (background) and cleared by the INS previously to even recieve the permission to WORK, and the necessary training for flight instruction, on top of that. All the students are either US citizens or if they are foreign, they need to have a student visa which means they had to clear (background) through the INS before hand. So as you can see, all this is just a smoke screen so that people think they are actually doing something, and also to collect a little extra revenue, (if you can call it "little", on the TSA site you can find a link to their budget, and they get about a little more than a COUPLE OF MILL. a DAY just from the imposed fee on airline tickets alone, not to mention all the registration and other fees...). Like I said, the whole organization is a joke and a menace, it causes more problems than it solves for the people, and it sucks money like a vacuum. Remember that next time you buy anything at the store, or book a ticket, you just paid for all the fees we (pilots, truck drivers and many many others...) had to pay, and see what "benefits" you gain (you gain NO improved security from them, whatsoever). It's just another government beuracracy. So go ahead, pay more in end product costs while wondering why prices go up (thank uncle sam, not the businesses). Hopefully they will give thi "transportation security administration" the boot, and soon. When will people see the real truth...Just like Wolfrez said, "Hello from the Gestapo, err...TSA"
  5. This is an exelent point. Some games do say "Internet connection required for online play" while other just say "Internet connection required". The later one being it's just plain required if you want to play while the other one distiguishes "for online play". So yeah...there you go... LOL, reminds me of some other thread, no wonder we will be remembered as "The warning label generation"
  6. Eeeewww, ugh, another action shooter. What a waste. They couldn't make it something like the fallout or UFO:... series? Imagine sending exploration teams through stargate to explore and discover different worlds, recruiting team members, setting up and building bases/ships/vehicles, researching weapons, training teams. All in an epic game that puts you into a struggle to save humanity while establishing alliances with Jaffa, and fighting to overthrow the gauld. Now that would be awesome, and all they have now boils down to a no brain required action shooter...what a waste...

  8. Damn neuropathic ^%##%@...people like that just HAVE to become extinct somehow...
  9. ROFL, this is great. I can see a market in this...I want prison cams in every cell...lol
  10. A lot of lawyers offer free consultation. Look through the phone book, call up some of them and they can point you to the one specializing in contracts. Set up an appoitment with him and bring all the paperwork. DO NOT SPEAK WITH THE DEALERSHIP ANYMORE, do not accept any of their checks, if they send one to you, do not deposit it as that will stipulate your agreement to whatever cancelation terms they offered, and do not tell them that you will be consulting a lawyer. In my opinion, if you can't see anything written down in the contract stipulating failures to deliver, at the very least you are entitled to your money back + interest (look up and see what's the highest interest you can find on the CD's or something equivalent for the time that they had your money), + whatever inconvinences their failure to deliver has caused. Also, make sure that the lawyer collects only if you win, by the way, the loser pays the lawyer and filing fees which now can be included in lawsuits. Have at it man...
  11. We need a graemlin that's tearing it's hair out...or one unloading a shot gun, like this... Graemlin --->>>blast, = Yahoo....ROFL
  12. The amazing part is not that we get blamed, called names and considered "stingy". The amazing part is that we continue doing humanitarian things, the amazing part is that we tolerate all this from the rest of the world, that Bush is called a religious fanatic yet when he helps out and just turns another cheek, yet some cleric is called a saviour when he calls for murder of infidels. Well, someday we will see...everything has a balance... Thanks Derek.
  13. Because with the abandonment of the gold standard, at least some of us are still smart enough to still see the real value of things... But on a lighter note, yeah, why not just crank away with your mouse for 10 hours a day, play games get cash, life long dream of every high school kid...
  14. Whats wrong with making toy soldiers now? What planet do you come from? We should stop making toy soldiers? What, maybe we should also castrate 90% of boys so that they don't grow up into testesterone ladden men and maybe teach them to play with little barbies and kents. Yeah, that must be it...
  15. See, now that's a REAL problem...
  16. "When the country has the need to control it's population, it's already lost..." Don't remember who said this, but it's quite old.
  17. Each generation is known for something, 60's for the hippies, 70's disko, 80's punks, 90's and on - loss of common sence, rise in stupidity, the warning label generation.
  18. On the first point, by using pirated software you are essentially stealing, therefore it is a crime, and jail time should be give because you steal something that does not belong to you, it's the same as going to the store, stealing and saying that's it's ok because you didn't hurt anyone. However you forget that the company or individual that made that software spend their money and time to create it and expect a return for their work. Not the return you think they should get, but the return the market or they expect for it. Second, China is communist, it has government madicare, and other forms of social wellfare, just like Russia. So yes, there is a corelation there. Third, Americans don't like the government taking their hard earned money and redistributing it. Simple, you made the money, it's yours. Why should the government be taking it and giving it to those who didn't, someone taking something that you earned doesn't sound wrong to you? If you want retirement, you save for it (imagine what you can do with those 20% of your yearly paycheck times 40 years, you like that picture of youself on a boat in the carribean?, now think what your 20% that you worked, invested and saved for is like shared between 9 other people and you, that elderly home sounds appealing?, still feel good and generous?), if you want anything else, you go work, make the money and buy it, it's rather simple. People like to think that they are entitled to things just because they are alive, and that attitude is just plain wrong. You are born into this world naked, and the rest is up to you. So, either way, yes, it's nice that microsoft decided to give discounts to those with pirated copies (you lure more with honey), but ultimatly, pirating IS stealing no matter how you look at it or what your reasons are, (and people do go to jail for stealing).
  19. So, if you are using a pirated product and are perfectly aware about it, what makes you think that you don't deserve a knock on the door, handcuffs, fine and a jail sentence? You are essentially using something that took time and money to create, while you yourself decided to steal it and contribute nothing. It's the same kind of thinking that people exibit wnen they talk about entitlements to wellfare and social security for retirement. Funny how the countries that have the most pirated software are also the ones with the highest social wellfare...maybe I'm onto something there...talk about demanding something for nothing, and if the demand is not fullfilled, stealing it like it's perfectly ok...
  20. ROFL, hey there's an idea...
  21. An even better punishment for criminals like this (drunk driving, murder, or injuring someone because of gross negligence): 1. Execute the criminal 2. Seize all the property of the criminal 3. Transfer seized property to the person who suffered or their family 4. Case closed
  22. Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do, alright. It's just like the enemy hiding in mosques, and our soldiers unable to shoot at them because of people saying "It's a mosque, don't shoot..." Next thing you know they would be hiding in those ruins and then what?... leave them be, to just hide out there and strike at our flanks?
  23. I think the TSA is a joke of an organization that should be disbanded now. And if not now then at least when they are up for review in 2006...
  24. LOL, "...those warnings save lives..." Think about what retards lives those warnings save, I don't think I want to be anywhere within at least 100 miles of those retards because they are an obvious liability that will probably cause more people to lose their lives because of their actions... It's like hearing about someone cleaning out a loaded gun and shooting themselfs... and public starts crying how guns are bad, I say give a gun to everyone, make it easier on the public, weed out the idiots...if you are so dumb as to take a thermometer out of your butt and stick it in your mouth, even after washing it, well then you deserve to die of some kind of infection...lol..that's why your butt hole is so far away from your mouth, lol that's how the nature intended it....
  25. This is a fricking insanity. The planes are pressurized to 8,000 feet. So it doesn't matter what altitude they are at, they can be at 34,000 and it will still be 8,000 in the cabin. What about watches with timers, what, they can't time the climb? Next will be watches with timers, and then, we will all be flying naked after being x-rayed, poked and probed. Enough is enough...
